I'm Evan. I've never been anything extraordinary or spectacular, nor do I aspire to be (please don't read that in a tone of self-pity, it's quite the opposite). I am simply one man in a churning sea of faces. As far as what I desire to do with my life, I'm working on finishing my BA in English since I've been putting it off for far too long, and then to continue traveling and wandering around the world, teaching English to whoever will hire me in whatever countries I can enter (who the fuck knows what it'll be like for international travel in 3-5 more years...). There is no place like the home I have built within myself, for everything material is temporary and circumstantial. I value relationships with people, though I am terrible at communicating with others if they're not physically close to me (like, living in the same area). I excel at making people around me laugh and being able to have people from different "walks of life" listen to what I say. I'm indifferent to the petty, lying morality which people exude, though I do live by my own moral code. I love to talk, whether it's something I know and understand intimately or something I'm completely ignorant to, the free exchange of ideas, theories, emotions, possibilities, circumstances, laughter, knowledge. I'm the kind of guy who looks apathetic to everything, the typical product of the 90s and the clusterfuck of clashing musical ideologies which we all enjoyed so much, however I would that my thoughts are much more abstract and I'm normally just distracted by something I'm thinking about and probably frustrated by it...my mind is a sublime dwelling in which I take comfort, however sometimes it's better to just get out and see what happens!

I'm doing what I can, really. I'm working a job like everyone else, being a good American and paying my taxes, consuming mind-altering liquids with others and talking about whatever pops into my mind, and am planning out where I'm going to move to next.

What I'm not doing with my life is settling down, having kids, getting a mortgage, creating more consumer debt, starting a family, and being [overly] responsible.

Lots of shit, really, though I don't want to sound conceited so it's always better to show people what you're good at rather than being a braggart. Stealing and drinking are two things I excel at...

P.S. Drugs -- Sometimes = smoking headies when I feel like it, which is normally when I have some, and not when I don't, which translates to a few times a month. I drink alcohol far more frequently than I smoke weed.
