Well to start I like to consider myself a total intellectual who
takes the chance to do something just for the knowledge. My mind
prefers to see the world from many perspectives and through various
lenses since it gives better view of the truth. I rarely make
judgments without compelling evidence to drive them. And finally,
with a slew of adjectives, I will describe myself as rational,
reliable, practical, personable, charming, and at times rather
What I’m doing with my life
Two associates degrees, one old in electronics, and one new in
design and engineering.(I know, I know, why didn't I go for
bachelors after first AAS?) Working on transferring into a fast
track program(accelerated degree completion) in mechanical or
construction engineering program. But my ultimate objective is to
obtain my professional engineers license and to open my own firm.
(It's a huge mission, but it's respectable and lucrative)
I’m really good at
If I apply myself to something I usually become pretty good at it.
That characteristic makes it easy to work with my hands and fix,
modify, and/or create things. Outdoors exposure I've had throughout
my life has made me pretty well versed in doing activities such as
backpacking, lake sports, camping, exploring, etc. But probably my
best skill is being able to listen, if you listen carefully you can
often hear the answer...
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, smile, my presence...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Horror and science fiction suspense especially from Dean
Koontz, Stephen King, Jack Ketchum, Anne Rice, etc.
Movies: Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Dazed and Confused, Texas Chainsaw
Massacre, Clerks, Resevoir Dogs, The Fly, The Big Lebowski,
Shows(I'm assuming TV): Sons of Anarchy, Dexter, Breaking Bad, The
Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, and others...
Music: I'm pretty much a rocker (Killswitch Engage, Rev Theory,
Saving Abel, Hinder, Buckcherry, Deftones, Godsmack, you get the
picture). But I also listen to a very eclectic mix of other genres
and artists that can include Bad Boy Bill to Beethoven or the
mighty Led Zeppelin followed by some Brad Paisley. It's a mood
Food: I'm a sucker for mexi and sushi. But my taste is diverse and
I could be in the mood for some manicotti on Monday and then on
Tuesday I'll have a craving for general tso chicken or charcoal
grilled steak and ribs. Cooking is one of my specialties and I
really enjoy co-cooking with my significant other... (Are you
willing to be my taste tester?)
The six things I could never do without
1. Family (First and foremost)
6. Ice (Because it's the best kind of water.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The idiosyncrasies and ironies of life...
On a typical Friday night I am
Depending on the circumstances at the moment I'm either hanging out
amongst family or friends or other good company , or I'm home alone
working on a project of some sort. (To me projects can mean
anything from planning a camping trip for the weekend to dinner
and/or homework for the night)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Wouldn't you like to know? Ask me in a message and I might tell
You should message me if
You're a bit of a risk taker. And if you're tired of being single
while observing all of your friends and everyone else enjoying
themselves in a relationship...
