I am Creative, Ridiculous, and Irreverent.

My Self-Summary

I'm pursuing my BFA in Production Animation. I'm driven by storytelling and unique characters. I live for great film, television, and theatre. I'd go for a good book; but I just don't seem to have the attention span. Oddly, I'll read pages of online research for character development. But I just won't read novels. Except Harry Potter. But I read that with my people. Out loud. With Silly Voices.

I honestly don't know how to describe myself. I'm completely different depending on who I'm with and the mode of interaction. With my small group of best friends, I'm the crazy loud mouth that comes up with dumb activities. (I was directly responsible for a Banana Beauty Contest. Bananas - covered in feathers and glitter.) Around new people, I get really quiet. I'll listen to the group conversation, and attempt to add my two cents to no avail. Bah, psychology/sociology... who gets it anyways?

NOTE: If I'm online, I'd prefer IMing. With private messages, my procrastination kicks in, and I put off replying. Plus, I just prefer how much more natural the exchange of IMs are.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm 3 semesters into earning my BFA from what's essentially the Harvard of Video Games and Animation. I hope to one day work in pre-production on both live-action and animated films.

But my biggest goal is to bring my various stories to life. I have two major projects I'm working on with friends. A Mafia Drama and a High-School Romance/Drama/Comedy with supernatural elements - but no vampires. Oh god, no vampires.

I’m really good at

Procrastinating. I can wait nearly to the last minute on an assignment, but still get it in on time and recieve good grades.

I've been told numerous times I'm a good singer. I refuse to believe it. Unless I'm singing to myself in the shower; then I'm totally a primadonna.

Making stupid faces and voices. Seriously, crazy voices.

Related to the above, I act. In fact, I'm award winning. It was the Yorkshire accent and the ability to make small children cry, I believe.

Compared to the masses, illustration/drawing/painting/etc. I'm certainly not the most amazing artist, but I'm working on it, and I do have facets that I excel in.

The first things people usually notice about me

My coat, oddly enough. At least, that's the only thing people comment on.

Also, that I burst into song. It only takes a word or phrase to trigger a musical interlude in my life. It comes from being in Musical Theatre for two years and growing up with Disney.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Harry Potter, Circle of Magic, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Middlesex, The Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men

Movies: Titanic, Gone With the Wind, South Park, The Blob (1958), Bugsy Malone, West Side Story, Princess Bride, Some Like it Hot, Bring it On, The Ring, 6ixty9ine (Thai Movie), Road to Perdition, The Green Mile, The Notebook, Forrest Gump, Eurotrip, American Wedding

TV: Grey's Anatomy, Dead Like Me, Glee, CSI:NY, Veronica Mars, The Office, Star Trek: Voyager, Project Runway, Trashy/Cheesy Reality TV on CMT and VH1, Dragonball Z

Music: Showtunes, Big Band Swing, Crooners (Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, etc.), 80's/90's Pop/Rock, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Muse, Die Prinzen, Alannis Morrisette, Pink, Katy Perry, Simple Plan, My Chemical Romance, Greenday, Gaelic Storm, Rascal Flatts, Gabriel Faure's Requiem

Food: I eat like a five-year-old. VERY picky. Pizza. Chicken Scampi. Chicken Parmigiano. Chicken Ramen. Chicken Strips. Mac and Cheese. Steak - Medium Rare. Ground-Beef Taquitos. Super Pretzels. Gummi Bears. Pumpkin Seeds. Goldfish. White Cheddar Popcorn.

The six things I could never do without

1. My Best Friends
2. The Interwebs
3. My Stories/Characters
4. Pizza
5. Disney
6. My Frejah-Fi-Foo-Fo (AKA: Freckles, my dog)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My characters and stories. Runs totally rampant in my mind, and I hardly pay attention to reality because it's so bland in comparisson. Probably makes me slightly insane, but at least I don't trap people in a basement and wear their skin after their demise, you know? Very tame in comparison, I'd say. :D

On a typical Friday night I am

Playing the Sims or catching up with the TV shows I missed over the week.

I would be hanging with my BFF, but distance and the fact that I don't drive makes it horribly inconveniant.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a reanimated corpse/bionic woman. Seriously. My heart stopped in 7th grade and they had to bring me back. Spent that Spring Break in the hospital with a short-term memory, and left with a pace-maker/defibrulator.
