I am honorable, goofy, and orgasmic.

My Self-Summary

I'm currently in seminary studying to be a pastor so religion and spirituality are very important in my life. But don't lump me in to any preconceived notions of what "pastor" means, I promise you I'm different than any of them. I hope to begin my Ph.D. after I'm done with my MDiv.

I've gotten my stuff pretty well figured out and would like to meet another person who knows who they are and can have intelligent conversation. Ladies who are strong, educated and confident are incredibly sexy.

Being outside and physically fit are really important to me. I did track and field during college (throws) and love lifting weights. I hate cardio, but now that I don't need to throw heavy objects ridiculously far distances, it's been growing on me :) I have been running a bit more and it's not as terrible as it used to be :P But, I kind of have workout ADD so I prefer quick, really intense workouts that change every couple of minutes, as opposed to going on a jog for an hour. I blame that on being a thrower for 10+ years.

My friends and partners need to be trustworthy people who take care of themselves and care about others. My reputation, my honor, and my integrity are paramount and I will never compromise any of them.

That being said...

I love to have fun, be goofy, and toss a few back with my pals on the weekend while talking about inappropriate subjects and being politically incorrect.

Oh and PS please don't ask me how serious I am about "that whole pastor thing." It's annoying and there's a reason I put it in my profile first. If I'm serious enough about it to commit the rest of my life to it, it's probably a safe bet that I won't be willing to give it up because you ask me to.

What I’m doing with my life

After the first two years in seminary I am beginning to learn that grad school is something I just "get." It comes pretty naturally to me, which isn't to say I don't do my share of work, but when you know you're in the right place, everything just "clicks." That's how it is for me. I have no doubt in my head that I am 100% where I am supposed to be at this point in my life. I gotta admit, that feels pretty damn awesome!

I’m really good at

Cooking. My forte is Italian food.

The first things people usually notice about me

My smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Favorite Book: The Odyssey by Homer. I read a ton and probably spend a good portion of my day during the school year with my nose in a book.

Movies: too may to list!

Music: Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, just about anything country, Pink, Nada Surf, Carrie Underwood, and the Goo Goo Dolls

Food: I'll eat just about anything. I really love Italian and Mexican. And a good burger! And a good dessert! I particularly enjoy meat wrapped in meat i.e. bacon wrapped scallops or something of that sort...And anything else made of food! I'm easy to please.

My favorite quote:

"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides, and gravitation, we shall harness for God the energies of love. And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we shall have discovered fire."

If you know off the top of your head who wrote it, I'll marry you :)

The six things I could never do without

In no particular order:

good books, nature, snuggles, my truck, music and good food.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What life has in store for me next.

And, I'd really love to open a women's retreat center for interfaith dialouge. I think that'd be a great thing to do for the world where so much violence is done in the name of religion.

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't have a typical Friday night activity other than boxing. After that, it varies from going out with friends to snuggling up with a beer and a good book.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm kind of a beer snob. I'm not a jerk about it or anything but you will never see me with a Budweiser or Miller anything in my hand. I don't understand when Seattle and Portland have some of the best small brewery beer in the nation, people still drink cheap crap that really isn't all that much cheaper at the bars. Pay the extra $0.50 and get something great.

You should message me if

you feel so inclined.
