My self-summary
I'm only a rocket scientist to support my circus acrobat lifestyle. It's going pretty well, so far.
What I’m doing with my life
So, still kind of new to Seattle, definitely keeping myself busy with all the fun hobbies that you can pick up around here. Who would have thought that access to a laser cutter and 3D printer would bring so much joy to my life?
I’m really good at
Well, other than circus stuff (lots of straps and flying trapeze), I make one hell of a cocktail.
The first things people usually notice about me
Chances are good I'm upside down.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Things that I've seen/watched/read/eaten/drunk recently that deserve to be praised:

Ex Machina was pretty and oh so awesome.

Book: In the middle of a book about Babbage's Difference Engine (so fucking cool I'm re-routing my Europe vacation to see it in action in London) and Stiff by Mary Roach. Also just finished Modern Romance, but I'm not sure what effect it will have on my OKCing.

TV: GoT is great and all, but Bob's Burgers makes me unconditionally happy. And has given me a new appreciation for butts.

Music: This (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXjZeCL0C9o) is pretty fantastic.

Food: Cherry season is over. I'm sad now.

Drink: Finally got a bottle of Creme de Violette, got obsessed with Aviations. Has single handedly re-ignited my love of gin.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Researching anatomy to speed up healing/prevent my inevitable injuries. Never thought that I would consider elbows to be more complicated than shoulders, but when the ligaments get involved definitions get tricky.

Also Batman.
On a typical Friday night I am
I really like going to cocktail bars and watching the bartenders make fancy drinks. It's very relaxing, watching someone who is very good at what they do, just moving and mixing and making. Plus, it gives me ideas for home and I can drink while I watch.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My favorite gift this year was a puzzle with a mean solving time in the hundreds of hours. I'm excited.
You should message me if
You have a funky hobby that you want to show off. Like, if you study words that use a q without u to improve your scrabble score, or you're a secret pool shark, or can knit mathematically interesting shapes. First dates should be about finding out what awesome things there are that you never thought to try before.

Or you're looking forward to the stage in a relationship where you can both be in a room reading or working on something and not feel awkward because you're not talking to the other person.

What's the shibboleth these days? GGG?
