My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.

I'm looking to bring someone new into my life, and be a part of theirs. I work hard, and I'd like someone who is passionate about what they do. When not working I enjoy lots of hobbies, and I'd love to add some more.

A good deal of my weekends are spent working on my house. It's a bit of a fixer upper. Or maybe a lot of one, but there's lot to learn and I enjoy learning.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working towards the dream... having a bathtub deep enough to properly soak in. I spend my days working as a software engineer. I'm very focused on my work at the moment, but I want to make time for the right person.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
* writing code
* playing with cats
* all sort of gaming.

Personally though, I'd rather focus on getting better at things I'm less skilled at. I can be a bit of a perfectionist.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
- Ender's Game
- Snow Crash
- Harry Potter (my childhood!)

I'm really bad at picking up new books, but recommendations (sometimes) help.

- The collective Marvel Cinematic Universe
- Ocean's Eleven
- Tron Legacy

I like a ton of movies, and I'll watch almost anything. I have a hard time with horror movies, though. They usually put me to sleep. The "good" ones at least make me laugh.

- Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
- Suits
- Arrow
- Silicon Valley

My list of shows is a rotating list, but I'm still very happy with all the shows above. I wasn't too keen on the finale of HIMYM, but the series as a whole is still great.

- Shinedown
- The Offspring
- Rise Against
- Lots of Pop and Rock

I'm not huge on music. I enjoy it, and I have preferences, but I don't spend a lot of time 'just' listening to music. In the car, shower, or out for a walk sure, but not frequently otherwise.

- Breakfast
- Sushi

I love lots of different foods, but there is a really good change that if the place serves breakfast, that's what I'm ordering. I'm slowly learning to be a better cook at home. Currently, I'm on a big sea food kick.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I tried to keep this list free of the "boring" things, but I seriously use my phone everyday, so it goes on the list.

1. Source control
2. Wawa diet green tea
3. Chromecast
4. A stove
5. Messenger bags
6. Cell phone.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work, and by extension, programming. Cute kitten pictures. Food. Hobbies.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching Netflix, long walks after dinner, gaming, arts/crafts, managing a server, having a beer, hanging out... It really varies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a tendency to favor smaller (tea) spoons to larger (table or bigger) spoons. When I was young, I got a soup spoon stuck behind my teeth. Nowadays I don't even think about it, but I guess it's subconscious at this point.

A waitress once begged my friends and I to pay so she could go home. (We did so, promptly)
