My self-summary
Hiya, I'm Scott. I'm a recent college grad (BS in Computer Science and Business) trying to find out where I want to go from here. I'm from Connecticut but I can't remember anything but South Jersey and Pennsylvania where I went to school. Also, do NOT mistake me being from Jersey as having anything in common with the Jersey Shore, because I do not.

I love games of all types. I grew up on card games, added computer and various video games to my repertoire over the years, and I'm very into table top games at the moment. I enjoy games because they let me spend time with my friends, and challenge me mentally at the same time. I have a competitive nature because of this, but I don't let losing get me down either.

I always try to type in complete sentences, but it doesn't bother me unless you go to the other extreme and write like an idiot.

And if you didn't catch it by now, I'm a nerd.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a recent graduate looking for full time work. In the mean time I'm working part time with a little bit of freelance coding on the side.
I’m really good at
I've noticed I have a knack for understanding other people's perspectives on various things. It's not always useful, but it can be fun to think about.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm probably the wrong person to ask about this, but I'd imagine people I have just met would call me quiet. I'm an introvert the first time I meet someone, but once I get comfortable, that ends quickly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've recently been reading a ton compared to last year. Harry Potter is fantastic and contains so much rereadability that it is hard not to include it here. My absolute favorite book series is Piers Anthony's Incarnations of Immortality. I could go on about them for nearly forever if you get me started. Besides this I follow a lot of books that serve as back stories for various game settings. I am ALWAYS looking for recommendations. ALWAYS. If you have any good ones for me (That aren't on my constantly expanding list already) then I will love you forever.

I'll watch any movie once. Really. My (current) favorite would be 'Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist'. I could also watch 'Eurotrip' everyday if it were on. During the summer I usually end up seeing a ton of movies. Having friends in high places (a local theater) helps.

As far as shows are concerned, I don't follow many regularly. The only two shows I try to follow religiously are NCIS and House MD. I've seen nearly every episode of Law and Order SVU thanks to reruns on USA, but usually just as background noise. I'll go on extended bursts of Netflix when I find a show that catches my eye. This trend has worked me through all available episodes of Weeds, the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, FLCL (Multiple times), and occasional reruns of many others. Shows I keep meaning to catch up on include: Bones, Dexter, Burn Notice, White Collar, and most of the USA original lineup.

Music, I enjoy mostly in the background, because I rarely just listen to music. Most of my musical intake occurs in the car. I like rock, pop, and a ton of other genres. I have a completely random musical taste, and I'm rarely ashamed of liking something, despite negative opinions around me.

I enjoy so much food, I can't be expected to list just a handful, can I? Though I will say that I'd rather enjoy a cheap meal at a local diner over a fancy serving the size of a quarter. Oh, and comfort foods delight me; Mac and Cheese is the best.
The six things I could never do without
1. The Internet - It has EVERYTHING on it
2. My Phone - My lifeline, and it connects to the aforementioned internet
3. My Laptop - See Phone
4. Friends - Everyone need them
5. Movies - They complete me

That list is not in order, despite being numbered. I also decided to only include five for two reasons. First, five is a much better number. It's round, and prime! Secondly, I couldn't think of a solid sixth choice. At least without getting too literal and including 'air' or 'food'.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
This section is sort of hit or miss with me. I don't spend a lot of time on any one front. Though I can certainly say that I will over-think almost everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Currently, I spend my Friday nights resting after work. I go hangout with friend's given the option. We like to geek out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm very open with those I trust. Get to know me and I will tell all.
