My self-summary
Neutral good software engineer seeking someone who knows what that means. But really, I'm here to find someone I can get along with, talk to for hours on end, and cuddle up with. I don't expect, or even want, perfection, but I need someone who has ambition and is working towards what they want.

I spend a lot of time at work, and I enjoy what I do, so I'm pretty busy. That said, if you're the right person, I will make time. Outside of work, I collect hobbies. A good deal of them are a bit nerdy like gaming of the tabletop, board, card, and video variety. Some, like home improvement are less so. At present, I'm seeking out some more active hobbies, since I'm recovering from a mild back injury.

I'm a fan of animals, though I favor cats to dogs by a great deal. I have one feline friend at present, though I want to get him a play mate at some point. If we hit it off, I might absentmindedly send you pictures of him at random hours. It's kind of my M.O.

I recently reset all my answers on here, since I disagreed with some of my answers from the last time I was on here, so there's that.
What I’m doing with my life
Working towards the dream... having a bathtub deep enough to properly soak in. In reality, mostly working, but that makes me happy. I've been toying around with the idea of going back for a Master's degree on a part time basis as well. Let me know if you have recommendations.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty great at writing code, as I do it for a living, but that's kind of dodging the question, isn't it? I'm pretty solid at budgeting time. Oh, and fixing my parents' computer problems over the phone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I haven't been reading as much lately, but I want to fix that soon. I've been looking into audio books so I can "read" while I work. A few of my favorites are the Harry Potter series, Snow Crash, Ender's Game, and the Incarnations of Immortality series.

I have a ton of movies that would go into the favorite category. Right now, I'm in love with all Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. I can't wait for Civil War. Besides that, who doesn't love a good heist movie, like Ocean's Eleven or The Italian Job? Then there's silly movies I could watch all the time like Super Troopers or Eurotrip. And because people like to post their views on horror... I'm not much of a fan. They tend to put me to sleep, or crack me up. Neither reaction is received well by horror fans, generally.

TV shows are my bread and butter at the moment. All the current comic shows are a bit of a passion right now. I watch pretty much all of the Marvel and DC shows. Agent Carter is the notable exception, I think it had some growing pains in season one, but I do intend to check out season 2 at some point. Recently, I've been keeping up with The Blacklist, Suits, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow. I'm anxiously awaiting the return of Silicon Valley and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

For music, I listen to a ton of different stuff. In the car, it's usually WMMR for my commutes. At work and home my recent playlists have included Shinedown, The Offspring, Rise Against, and Fall Out Boy. I have brief flings with pop music as well.

When it comes to food, yes please. If breakfast is an option, like at a diner, I'll probably order that. I found a solid bagel place where I work now, so that's another great option. And sushi, I love those little morsels.
The six things I could never do without
Kittens, Wawa diet green tea, technology, a pocket notebook, cheese, and car.

I tried really hard to keep the boring things off the list, but I really couldn't go without my phone, computer, and car.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ideas for a side project, the future, and whether or not I locked the door I just closed. Most of the time, I did in fact lock the door. That doesn't stop me from checking anyway.
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably at home decompressing. Other options include out at a movie, or hanging out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
A waitress once begged my friends and I to pay so she could go home. (We did so, promptly)
