My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So, I figure I'll retitle this section to, "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" (it's a working title, feel free to re-categorize as you wish). You can figure out which category the following not so random tidbits of information fall into, but here are some things about me:
- I have a twin sister, she's pretty awesome.
- I play guitar.
- I sing.
- I like to go to open mics.
- I don't own a car... It's Boston and I work from home. At the current moment, why would I pay for something I wouldn't use that much?
- I trade stocks for a living, not to be confused with being a stock broker.
- I go disc golfing just about any weekend I can find someone to go with.
- I'm more of a small group party person vs. big parties... always have been, but will go to big parties because why not... need to push personal comfort levels sometimes.
- I'm not a fan of how many times I have (and will use) "I" in this section, but I like to write in complete sentences.
- I have my M.F.A. in Creative Writing, and specifically screenwriting.
- When I can safely afford a dog, I want a Bichon... no qualms with it not being a very manly dog 'cause they're damn cute and wicked smart.
- Ya know what? In general, at least 25% of the time I geek out a little when I see small cute dogs. They're adorable so that people say, "look at that cute dog." If this is in the bad or ugly category, then I'm cool with waiting on someone who enjoys cute small animals as well.
- I've gotten on a pretty big board game kick since moving to my current apartment.
- I've recently-ish picked up Magic The Gathering again (and feel no shame about it. The strategy necessary to build decks and play makes it more fun at this age than it was when I was younger).
- Seriously, I have my geeky, dorky, nerdy side, however you want to classify it. I like it.
- I have 6 tattoos and will probably get more, but I think before I ink, and am not into the covered in them look... So, take that for what it's worth.
- I am definitely a binge watcher of TV shows on Netflix, especially if I know the series is finished or soon to be finished.
- I'm a person that doesn't want to stop growing and evolving on a personal level... Doesn't always mean it'll be quick, but stagnation is not in my life description.
- I'm a whiskey drinker.
- IPA is my go to for any beer choice, but sometimes I'll rock a 40 of O.E. just for the hell of it.
- I am an INFJ. This link ought to explain a little about that in a amusing way. Special shout out to - 31, 28, 27, 26, 25, 17, 12, 10, 7, 5, and 1.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'd say stuff... things... and more stuff... Realistically most of what I could say is already above, so... ultimately, I'm living life as it comes and making the most of it all.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Corny dad jokes that usually get this reaction, listening, giving advice (mostly objective but it's hard to be objective 100% of the time), writing, contextual/situational humor, super smash bros. N64 version, cooking (when I have someone to cook for, otherwise I don't usually go too fancy), using ellipses and parenthesis on things like this, being a good friend.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'd like to say it's my strikingly handsome face and cheerful disposition, but I'd have to guess it's either my glasses or my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Let's see... to name a few...

Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Giver, The Zombie Survival Guide, The Golden Compass (and His Dark Materials in general), The Tao of Pooh, Hamlet.

Movies: Stranger Than Fiction, The Invention of Lying, The Usual Suspects, Lucky Number Slevin, Serenity, Love Actually, Ratatouille.

Shows: Dr. Who, The Walking Dead, How I Met Your Mother, Firefly, Friends, Breaking Bad, Community, House of Cards, Pushing Daisies, Chuck, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy (at least a couple times a week, my roommate and I chill out and shout answers at the TV to these two).

Music: The Avett Brothers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Mumford and Sons, Radiohead, Damien Rice, Ani Difranco, Pink Floyd, and in general classic rock and current alt. rock (along with at least a mild appreciation for just about all types of music).

Food: Pretty much all food is good food, but I have a particular weakness for nachos, a damn good burger, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers (which is awesome that I spelled it correctly but without the ñ, so my comp called it misspelled and offered the ñ included word (little things in life)), steak, and an interesting/delicious salad. Not a huge fan of fruit though, especially strawberries... I know, I'm apparently weird for that.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Beyond the obvious of family, friends, water, food, shelter, money...?

Card/Board Games
Disc Golf
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Anything and everything... There's really are no general categories of/ reoccurring thoughts that go through my head, I just think a lot relative to what is going on, what has gone on, and what could be going on... it all depends.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Everything and anything... just depends on who's suggesting what... I'll do dance clubs, pool, bowling, seeing an original band, seeing a cover band, catching a movie, hitting up a crowded bar, purposefully trying to find a bar that's not crowded, a night of video games, board games, card games, Netflix marathoning, or having long involved conversations that flow from topic to topic... mostly done with friends/roommates in some capacity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Despite the fact that I answered most of my questions privately (there's method to the madness), I'm a pretty damn open book, so trying to think of "the most private thing I'm willing to admit" seems a little irrelevant/ridiculous... If there's anything in particular that you want to know, feel free to ask.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
So... You should message me if:
- There were things in my profile that gave you this reaction.
- You're looking for someone that you can share some of your interests/hobbies with and vice versa.
- You like any one (or all) of the following: Dr. Who, Joss Whedon creations, board games (both simple and really involved), Magic, Zombie related stuff, trivia, bowling, shooting pool, disc golf, corny jokes, or super smash bros. n64... I know in the end none of this stuff really matters, but it could be a start to a beautiful friendship at least.
- You enjoy conversations ranging from politics and religion, to zombies survival tactics and games.
- You're looking for an eventual best friend that you can enjoy sexy-fun playtime with (link SFW). No guarantees that I'm going to be that eventual best friend, but I'm not a random hook-up type guy (quasi-old-fashioned... courtship, chivalry and what not), so that's what I'm looking for.
- You made it this far and you're still reading with some level of curiosity.

So, I like to put a random video here and change it up from time to time, so... If you smile at this, you might want to contact me.
