I am capable, interesting, and very nerdy.
My Self-Summary
In basically descending order:
Self-controlled, loving, highly solitary, capable, disillusioned,
realistic, overly technical, adoring of animals, oddly dressed,
strict, good with kids, well mannered, totally
non-aggressive/anti-aggressive.
I’m really good at
Problem
solving, playing with complex problems and systems, I like
systems (genetics, engineering, evalution, ... And
inventions.
Music,
studying and
teaching.
Accepting, I
have no problem with any demographic, subculture, sexuality, sports
team, religion, lifestyle, fetish, political following, TV show,
etc. My one exeption is people who hurt others without their
permission.
The first things people usually notice about me
Style swings (like mood swings): I'm a full on goth, punk, church
girl and business woman, on different days.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Music (and people involved): almost anything that has had thought
put into it by someone intelligent who knows what they're doing.
So...
Danny
Elfman,
Richard
Cheese and Lounge Against The Machine,
Diana Krall,
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy,
Royal
Crown Revue,
Cherry Poppin' Daddies
(back in the days of Zoot Suit Riot),
Bowling For Soup,
She Wants
Revenge,
My Chemical Romance,
Brian Setzer,
Alice Cooper
(his creepy stuff, not the lame stuff),
Nina Simone, some musical scores,
such as
Les
Miserables,
Chicago (the original, not the crappy
one Danny Elfman wrote for the movie),
The Rocky Horror
Picture Show,
The Corpse Bride,
The
Nightmare Before Christmas and
The Producers. The list of music I
like could go on for another 5 pages. I like
jazz,
classical,
punk rock,
funk,
swing,
big band,
rock,
metal, and a lot of other things. However
I do not like all music, there is a huge amount of music out there
that I'm very glad no one can legally force me to listen to.
Movies and TV (and those involved):
Mythbusters,
Tim Burton,
Diana Rigg,
Vincent Price The Rocky
Horror Picture Show,
Fight Club,
Tintin,
Adam Savage,
QAF,
Family Guy,
The Nightmare Before
Christmas,
Alan Davies,
The Corpse Bride,
Jonathan
Creek,
Sleepy Hollow,

The Wind In The Willows
(Monty Python version). This list could go on too.
Books and writers: (here's my top few)
Michael Leunig,
Roald Dahl (adult stuff),
P.G.
Wodehouse,
Charles Schulz,
Gladys Michell,
Terry pratchett and
Oscar
Wilde.
Food... I like cooking far more than I like eating, I'm good with
indian. And I love chocolate cheesecake.
The six things I could never do without
I'm pretty independent...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music, designing (in
some form).
On a typical Friday night I am
Trying to find something interesting to do with a Friday night.
I've tried getting shit faced, clubs, goth clubs, picking up,
playing pool, live metal, pubs, house parties, weed, playing
darts...
Playing darts was cool, and I'd possibly revisit goth clubs.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'll probably ask to meet you way sooner than you expect. If I
don't meet you in person, there's a good chance the conversations I
have with you will melt into the one long internet conversation
I've had with countless strangers over the last five years.
If I ask you out, it's because I think you might be worth
remembering for one reason or another (quite possibly in no way
related to dating). :-)

You should message me if
...I'm 21, I don't claim to know what kind of person I'd end up
happy with, or even if I want someone to end up happy with.
But I like people who...
Have the perception to know what needs to happen next, the
confidence and initiative to do it and the intelligence and
experience to know how.
However, these qualities without kindness are the makings of the
leaders of the greatest war crimes in history, also all the
ruthless managers you've ever had. Obviously that's not what I'm
after.
