My Self-Summary
Since I'm here, I might as well put something down. First thing,
I'm a little wary of putting all these personal detail out on the
internet. Kind of defeats the purpose though, doesn't it.
On a good day, I'm outgoing and happy, I'll talk to anyone. On a bad day, I hate all you stupid people in the world. Yes, all of you. Don't worry though, it's not a really violent thing, just a quiet, festering disdain.
Well, now I sound like some screwed up goth ... which I'm not ... I'll let you work the rest out for yourself.

What I’m doing with my life
Working too hard like everyone else. I used to run my own business
which meant there was always too much to do but never enough work
and certainly not enough money. Now I'm pretending to be an
engineer. So far I have enough people fooled.
I’m really good at
OK, how about I be immodest and say this. I'm moderately good at
most things I put my mind to. I'm a fair writer, I can play some
music, computers I can handle - hardware, software, networks. I can
perform OK at most sports if I try. I can do conversation in text
and in person. Other stuff too.
The first things people usually notice about me
Perhaps that I'm blunt. Or maybe that I'm quiet, or loud. I guess
it depends on the situation.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
BOOKS: The Shockwave Rider by John Brunner, Lord of Light by Roger
Zelazny. I liked Lord of the Rings before it was a fad. I read
Harry Potter like the rest of the world but I'm finding it less
satisfying. I think I like the universe more than the actual plot,
which seems to be outgrowing the author. Mostly I read Sci-Fi but
it needs to be thoughtful.
MOVIES: Anything with a good story, or fast-paced excitement. The occasional Hong Kong action movie.
MUSIC: Anything from Classical to Rock. It really depends on the piece/song. Some of the dance/R&B/HipHop leaves me cold though.
FOODS: I eat, I cook. I'll try most things but only stick with a few. I'm partial to asian cuisine or anything done well with good ingredients.
