I am smart, sarcastic, and silly.

My Self-Summary

I am a game programmer living in San Mateo. I was born and raised (for the most part) in the bay area, went to college in Davis.

What I’m doing with my life

I am a software engineer working for a video game company working on an unannounced MMO (the funny thing is I don't particularly care for MMO's... oh well). I would love to say more, but alas, there is the almighty NDA.

I’m really good at

Ok, I am a bit of a nerd, so the requisite answers first: programming and math. Beyond that, there are the things that I enjoy doing but would not say that I am 'really' good at, including skiing, dancing, playing football (translated: 'soccer') and ping pong (we just got a table at work).

The first things people usually notice about me

Physically, the first thing people notice about me is my long hair, which is now shorter than it once was. Personality wise, people then notice that I am shy, until introductions have been made, at which point my sarcasm and wit come out.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, Hamlet, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, His Dark Materials
Movies: Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Snatch
Music: The Smashing Pumpkins, VNV Nation, Pink Floyd
TV: Futurama, Carnivale, Dexter, Scrubs
Food: Mostly everything except seafood

The six things I could never do without

A computer (preferably with internet)
A good book
Someone to joke around with
Someone to have 'nerdy' discussions with

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time self-analyzing: where am I, where have I been, and where am I going. I will also spend time working out the latest puzzle that I have come across, usually related to a problem that I have come across at work, or just logic puzzles for fun. Beyond that I am constantly finding the irony of whatever situation I am currently in.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends, either at a bar, club, concert, hookah lounge, movie or playing board games and/or rock band.

You should message me if

you are funny, smart and affectionate.

Familiarity with xkcd is a plus.
