I've only been logging on this to read oktrends lately. So this is all pretty out of date. I also log on from my iPhone and never log off so it probably constantly says I'm online. I'll update this, but not now.

Hello my name is Mike (it's not really Mike). Unlike everyone else on here I enjoy writing about myself in tiny boxes and I can do so easily. I am however lazy so I won't. Instead I will fill said box with things which have been said about me, to me, or just in my vicinity over the years.

I'm a draftsman for a small aircraft company that specializes in sheet metal, I read and make blueprints, 3D models, and some tool design. I liked drawing as a kid and thought I'd like to do that when I grow up, but this wasn't the type of drawing I had in mind. Other than that I try to take classes when I can so I can finally get my engineering degree, at least when I do I'll have lots of work experience.

Not sleeping then oversleeping in that order.

My attire then my long hair and then maybe that I'm not female >.< People stop me to inform me I look like Ozzy fairly often. And recently a hobo told me my sideburns were awesome and to keep it up, so there's that too.

Books: Catch 22; Joseph Heller makes me laugh out loud. Don Quixote, To Kill a Mockingbird, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, Bill Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe, Robert Frost, poems by authors I can't remember, books on philosophy, ethics, and myth.

Movies: I never go out and watch movies anymore and there are many movies I intend to watch and never do. Dumb and Dumber is still one of my favorites. Death to Smoochy, Der Untergang, Big Fish, Screwed, FLCL not really a movie but you can watch all 6 episodes in one sitting. I can sit down and watch mostly anything. Once I get to the point where something has piqued my interest I have to see watch it all no matter how asinine.

Music: Diary of Dreams, Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Malice Mizer, Jack off Jill, Moi dix Mois, They Might be Giants, The Cruxshadows, The Kovenant, 45 Grave, Mago de Oz, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Switchblade Symphony, I listen to Deathrock, Black Metal, Industrial Metal, Industrial, EBM, Heavy Metal, House, Blackened Death Metal, Techno, Folk Metal, Symphonic Metal, J-rock/pop, Darkwave, Neo-Classical, and Orchestras. I'll stop there but I can go on. There's not many genres I dislike listening to, but what I really enjoy listening to will be from those categories and others like them. Recently been listening to stuff like Lily Allen, and Kate Nash; which is pretty much the exact opposite of metal.

TV: NEW FUTURAMA EPISODES THIS SUMMER!!! I don't watch much TV. Although I'll usually sit through almost any documentary no matter what it's about, same goes with cooking shows except I don't like Bobby Flay or Iron Chef America, but the original was awesome. Shows I'll watch online: South Park, Venture Bros, Metalocalypse, I have a problem with Family Guy; I think it's funny, but I also don't think it's good writing. I don't watch much TV.

What you think is funny says something about you. Mitch Hedburg, Norm MacDonald. Norm's a freakin' genius, in my opinion he's the best comedian alive, if you don't get his humor we probably won't get along. Dave Attel not to be confused with Dave Chappelle although he's good too, Conan O'brien when he gets together with Norm it's always awesome, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Gaffigan, George Carlin, Lewis Black, and I wish I was old enough to have known about Andy Kaufman earlier as I only found out about him after watching Man on the Moon a couple of years ago and I only watched the video after hearing that song by R.E.M. same thing with Johnny Carson I had heard of him but I had never really seen any of his shows until after his death. I can't believe I left out John Cleese and the Monty Python gang the first time around.

Food: Mostly everything. I try to make it a point to try new things. However I can't eat eggs, at least not chicken eggs, salmon eggs are good. Favorites are sushi, seafood, steak, spicy food, CHIPOTLES! (not the restaurant) seriously get a can of smoked chipotle peppers in adobe sauce puree in blender, mix with desired amount of mexican cream = awesome sauce that can be put in anything ANYTHING! Is that a sandwich? add chipotle. pasta? add chipotle. If I had an ice-cream maker I'd make chipotle flavored ice-cream. Just found chipotle flavored coffee at the world market!!! Seriously.

•This ones a toss up between math and gravity.

What or how others think. What exactly is consciousness. How two people with the same or similar goals go about achieving them. Why they act differently in the same situation and what their logic must be. Do the ends justify the means? Does one's intent have any bearing on the morality of his actions? Also trying to disprove Special Relativity. Contemplating the technological singularity. Infinity. I mean seriously think about it. Imagine there IS an afterlife and even that you go to heaven or whatever you might believe in, and you're there for millions of years and it's not over. Think of the longest conceivable amount of time you can, think of the universe forming billions of years ago and having witnessed it all, and then it keeps going; the universe will end, and even that is literally nothing compared to what's yet to come. Being conscious forever, even in bliss or at one with everything, is so incomprehensible. I find it awe-inspiring and downright terrifying. I actually stay awake at night from time to time fruitlessly trying to grasp at the concept.
