My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a mix of a geek, nerd and carer. I enjoy spending time helping people, hell I consider that to be my job description.

Quite shy with new people but open up very quickly. Generally laid back, have a dark (well very dark) sense of humour. Have the odd drink socially but don't go out to get wasted, preferring to go out and talk with people then clubbing.

Have wide ranging taste in music, from classical to metal. Also I enjoy gaming (I'm a geek, get over it!) and films.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a support worker and work with people with learning difficulties (mainly austism), very trying at times (I have a level of patience beyond that of even a saint) but it is rewarding and I do enjoy it. Also do a lot of volunteering working with a number of different groups.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening; I have to admit I'm not that good a talker but a great listener. I'm also really honest, too a brutal point, which does mean I do have a low tolerance/high disregard for bullshit.

Pretty much anything to do with computers.

Love problem solving, be it either things like sudoku, theoretical or more practical day today stuff. I love me a good puzzle.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My height and gut. Think Chewbacca if he let himself go a bit. Then once they talk to me, my honesty/bluntness and English accent with the odd scottish/doric word that pops through.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music - have a wide range from classical (my favourite song of all time being "In the Hall of the Mountain King") to the more "Intresting" types of Metal. Will listen to most things tho.

Film - favorite film is Manhunter followed closely by Das Boot and Fight Club. Love loads of different movies, prefer watching them with others though.

TV Shows- Currently watching Last week tonight, Archer, South Park and loads of documentaries. Don't really tend to watch tv as such, will mainly watch things online.

Book - World War Z by Max Brooks (DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE FILM). Don't get as much chance to read as I would like to but again have a wide range of tastes. Currently working my way through the works of Chuck Palahniuk.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My computer/internet/phone...well lets just say my tech. My laptop hardly ever leaves my side, between being a geek and using e-mail to stay in touch with people, I use it every day.

My music. As I said before I have a wide range of tastes and I love going for a walk, sticking my headphones on and listening to it full blast.

My friends/siblings. My friends are really important too me. Love my siblings to bits but don't get to see them as much as I would like.

Walking! Its something that I've picked up over the past few months. Well I was walking before that but wouldn't do that much of it. Now I'm doing around 40-50 miles a week and it's made a huge diffrence in my life.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, injustice, random stuff, my plans for world domination (who doesn't) and problem solving.

I mediate on issues regularly and find it helps me to relax
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working...else having a quiet night, maybe meet up with a few friends.

One problem with shift work is that days mean nothing to me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a open person so there are very few things I don't admit too. I'm dyslexic so have all the fun and games that comes along with that (probably a very big reason why I'm so open).

There is a fun story about how I accidently ended up engaged but that's a story I'll only tell you after I get to know you.
