My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
It's hard for me to believe I've been on this planet for forty two years. It's been a long and winding ride, and mostly a good one. I've lived in the city since 1998, all over the place, and just moved to the LPH (Western Subtraction).

It's a new experience and perspective, very different from my early years in the Mission. I'm an East Coaster by origin, but in the end, it's hard not to call San Francisco home. So many memories, so many friends, so many stories, not all repeatable. Hmm, I think I've managed to not say too much; I guess you'll have to ask me for more...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Please tell me if you find this out before I do. I am strangely happy not knowing where I am in the story of my life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Meandering through conversations.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm tremendously good-looking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Book: Master and the Margarita, Great Gatsby.
Movie: Butch Cassidy, Annie Hall, Star Wars.
Shows: I'm so behind here, so Archer, Bored To Death, Parks and Rec, House of Cards.
Music: The Rolling Stones, Wilco, Peter Wolf, The Beatles, U2, Bob Dylan.
Food: I eat out like it's my job, so really anything that whets the appetite. Foreign Cinema is my favorite restaurant in the city, but I'm biased.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My son.
Being there.
Time travel.
Pizza; I happen to know the best in SF.
James Franco.
A handful of the right people.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How did I get from Point A to B, and what's next. Leaving some kind of better world for my son.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happy houring it, then rambling to dinner with friends, then where the night takes us. The party is with the people, not some event, typically. But nothing, ever, Burning Man related!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am an only child and love it.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're smarter than me, and willing to take a chance on something that could turn into something bigger, better, and louder. Or you want to discover dinner and drinks with someone who knows what's what. And like proving me wrong.

Superficially, if you think Northface is cool and you wear flip-flops out on the town, then you probably should avoid me.
