On a more serious note: Being someone who has a passion for writing, you'd think finding words to describe myself would be simple. Alas, it is not an easy feat. I had a longstanding paragraph up here that was most certainly a "description", but really only scratched the surface of who I am.

I'm a Pisces, but I'm not a typical one. Yes, I'm compassionate, caring, sweet and helpful like all good Pisces are, but the fact that I am Gemini Rising and Leo Moon throws a big ol' wrench into the gears because I'm not the super emotional type that most Pisceans are known to be. Interestingly enough, I used to be, but I've done almost a complete 180 in the past three years and the other aspects of my chart are coming to the surface. In many ways, I'm rediscovering myself everyday and I like it.

I'm 32 years old and yet I still feel as if each day brings the potential for a new discovery... sometimes those revelations are so minute, I miss them, but I try not to fret because I know they'll come back 'round to present themselves. I'm a firm believer that everything happens the way it does for a reason. Yes, everything. Each occurrence, no matter how trivial you may deem the event, is just a small stitch in the fabric of this sometimes exhausting, sometimes painful & confusing, but always beautifully challenging thing we call life

To pay the bills, I am a Building Manager for one of the million and one non-profit organizations here in DC. This basically means I keep the building running from top to bottom, left and right, inside and out, so everyone else can do their jobs. Yes, I'm under appreciated for the most part, but I still love what I do.

I live moment to moment, honestly, and being typical Pisces behavior, it suits me very well. I go with the flow and take things as they come. Ask me where I see myself in 5-10 years and you're likely to get an empty stare. *grin* Ok, not really, but you will hear me say that all I want is to be happy with who I am and where I am, making the best of what I've got, wherever that may be at the time.

Writing erotica.
Fantasizing (it fuels the creation of my erotica).
Listening and giving advice, aka being an armchair psychologist.
Judging you for not using "your" and "you're" correctly. If you graduated high school, you should know the difference.

That I'm clearly a dyke - or they wonder if I'm a boy until they notice I have a fairly decent sized set of boobs. :P

Foods: Pasta and cheese, preferably together. Pickles! Pizza. Mexican (extra cheese and sour cream, please!). I get hungry just watching Food Network. I don't only eat unhealthy foods, they're just my favorites.

Music: I listen to many genres and music speaks to me on many levels, even though I'm not musically inclined in any way. Being a writer, I'm generally drawn to the lyrics (read: intelligence) of a song *before* the music, but there are still songs out there where the music alone gives me goosebumps.

Books: I love to read, but lately I have been slacking. I know, I suck. Generally, I'll get lost in a good fiction novel, but you can also find me reading something about astrology or Buddhism.

Seriously, though, I think about life, my choices during my life and what I can do to improve. Why people park in driveways and drive on parkways. Along with about a gazillion other things at any given moment. I'm Gemini Rising, my mind basically never stops.

It varies. I could be out with friends enjoying a good dinner, good drinks and even better conversation (the person that invented happy hour is a genius)... or, I could be at home vegging out and recharging after a long work week.

I'm an open book, nothing is really private for me. Ask questions and you'll surely get an honest answer. ;)
