What I’m doing with my life
I'm finishing my English Literature major at AUB, Beirut. Last semester, and then off for work with storyboard design for games. I want to make massive worlds for a living, free to play mmo's with an emphasis on the side with educational games.

That's my career path. Otherwise I gave a few lectures for a professor or two at the university on various topics. In April, there is a Digital Humanities conference where I'll be speaking about the use of literature in video games. On the 29th of this month I'm doing an art gallery exhibition on concept art and things with a friend. I've been finishing a painting a day for the past few months, which really helps in getting better.

I've been going out for a dinner date with friends every now and then, play a game of pool and such. Mornings I've been exercising, running from Rouche to Gemmayze and back to the university. Between classes I practice piano, grab a coffee at Second Cup and check my mail. At night either I cook or go out to eat.

Each week I wait on the latest releases of manga. One Piece, The Breaker, Naruto, Bleach, History's Strongest Discipline, Infinite Stratos, Dark Air, Fairy Tail, Beezlebub. Every now and then I write short stories or prose poetry. Life as it is, is good - and I can't wait for the next adventure. It is always adventure time.
I’m really good at
I'm good with fixing awkward situations, dancing, becoming friends with strangers. Also with instigating things.

I never get lost, I'm good at taking photographs with old cameras.

Giving massages and removing knots. None of that sexy kind mind, but removing the knots and making you feel lighter than air. I'm decent at painting and writing. If I have a prompt, I can easily make a poem about the subject.

I'm also decent at getting people to say things that they don't mean to. Something about listening and poking in the right directions that gets people to say more than they are used to saying.
The first things people usually notice about me
Depends. I usually can be seen wearing a frown, which does make me rather unapproachable at first. This would be probably because I am thinking about something. The second thing would be a thick, heavy accent. Third that I tend to blink a lot, or that I'm bent over a piece of artwork slash the computer. And if there is a conversation going, that I tend to be easy going yet poking the conversation in what I feel is the right direction.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books. Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrel. Fucking awesome book written by Susan Clark. Loved the Earthsea collection as well.

Movies. The Jacket, a psychological thriller was amazing. Edward Scissorhands was good, and so was I am legend. I personally love movies where the protagonist dies in the end. Better than the clique of happily ever after.
V for Vendetta; Lord of the Rings; Matrix; Hero; Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Last Samurai; October Sky; Trick 'r Treat.

I dislike R&B and rap, techno as well. Polka... forget about it. Love Opera music, Black, Industrial, Gothic Metal, Instrumental, Industrial, and some of the classics: Romantic Metal, Progressive Trance, Drums'n'bass, Vocal trance, and Darkwave. Like listening to opposites, worked out well for me.

Food is a cult. I'm a meat eater, than you very much, and would love to eat some Teriyaki Beef with Steamed Rice, or A medium-rare sirloin steak with a caeser salad on the side. I love to cook food, and would usually cook my own cereal and japanese/chinese/arabic cuisine.

Or just cook a steak, i'm fine with that :D

The six things I could never do without
1. My music. It's amazing how much of life is influenced by some band or singer who doesn't even know my name, and without it to place my memories (that's what I tend to do with music, keep specific memories to specific songs. Relieve them when I want to hear the song) I would sing my own songs which are more opera versions than pop

2. Honor. I live my life holding everything I do accountable to my personal honor. If I falter, I will try to make it right. Selfish, true, but I don't want to dishonor myself and the sacrifices that other people may have made for me in some idiotic moment.

3. Good company. Everybody needs some respite from the world giving them shit.

4. Random comic book witticisms. Amazing, even if the writers don't even know you. Like this quote: "The truth is, the guys in black aren't necessarily the bad guys, and when someone has wings, doesn't mean that they are good."

5. Random stupidities that make life meaningful. Enough said

6. My alter-ego Tenebrae. It's something that kept me from having nightmares as a kid and even now, by creating a character called Tenebrae, who will go around and protect me when crazed figments of my imagination attack me. Like my first nightmare was that crazy woman in red in toon world from "Who framed Roger Rabbit." Freaked the shit out of me for weeks.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What happened in the past few years in my life, and what could I do better in the future. Or just reliving moments that could bring me to smile when I need it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Eating food, calling friends to see who wants to go on an adventure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't have anything private anymore, so feel free to ask.
I’m looking for
  • Everybody
  • Ages 20–25
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You want to get food, are within the Beirut area, and if you're assertive enough. Because I'm hungry, and I love having an adventure every day. Speak of the devil, it's time for one now!
