Never done time as a ward of the state. (Knock on wood!)
I'm financially stable.
Not pining after some past love.

I didn't post any shirtless pictures of myself!
I didn't take any self portraits of myself using the mirror in my bathroom with the toilet and/or dirty clothes in the background!! You should double check that you didn't either..... I mean really, go check right now!

I am not married! (I know hard to believe, huh!)
I have never cheated on a significant other.
Been divorced for 13 years. Gotta love Nevada :)

Traveling a lot lately to see friends and family, working a great job that I love, and looking for someone to share the good times with. I am very happy with the way my life has gone so far, which gives me a very positive outlook on the future.

Parenting, working with my hands, listening, laughing, soccer, sailing, the ability to see any issue from multiple angles. And after all these years, I've suprised myself by finding out that I can cook more then just Top Ramen, and that I'm not a bad cook.

To many favorite books to list. I just finished the Bio on Steve Jobs and Odd Apocalypse by Dean Koontz. I'm always reading one or two books. Some of my favorite movies would be mostly of the action variety. Like Shane, Inception, Seven, Shawshank, Master and Comander, Man On Fire, The Mexican. But I'm game to watch anything you like as well. Even if it is a chick flick.

My kids, what's for dinner, and did I pay that bill? How far away is pay day again? That my daughter wants to move to NY, NY to chase her dreams... WHAT?? Politics, Religion, whether or not online dating will ever work for me. And did I really just answer a question about my sexual preferences available for everyone to see on OkCupid?!? WTF! I do believe that most of that should be kept in the bedroom, so to speak.

I have some good friends in Dallas that I like to meet from time to time at some new swanky spot. I also play soccer in a local mens league. Oh, lets face it and be truthful, surfing OkCupid to find someone to spend Friday nights with. And on that note I am done answering Okcupids questions, I feel its going to take away some of the surprise of getting to know someone when we go on a date.

I am somewhat of a closet fan of Trance/House/Techno music. It came to me a little later in life, say around 30. With that I have set a goal to one day sail (I will one day sail the world) to Ibiza to see what a real Rave Party is like. The problem being that by then I will be closer to 60 and they will still be 20ish... Awkward! But I won't let that stop my dream! Ok maybe I should of kept this to myself.

If don't think I am hideously ugly, and you were able to laugh at some of what I wrote here.

So here's the thing about messaging... I know that traditionally it falls on us men to make the first move, which I don't have a problem with. But truthfully, internet dating sites are a lot like a catalog of women... or "Binders of women" if you will. So what I do, and maybe you do the same, is read a bunch of profiles I'm interested in and save the ones I like to my favorites list. With the full intention of writing "you" when I get the time. I say "you" because no doubt "you're" on my list. Not that I put everyone on my favorites list, I'm just being polite here. Anyway, I am working my way up the list because the best match for me will be the last person I write at the very top. Which finally brings me to my long winded point. That you, no doubt being at the top of the list, can speed up this whole process if you find the time to write me before I get the chance to write you! Then we both can finally get off this site!!! Or you can wait a bit longer for me to finally get to the top and write you.
