My self-summary
After being on this site for a while, its obvious I have not put forth enough effort into my profile, so here is my attempt to fix that.

I very much believe that who I am is a strong argument for how much both nurture and nature sculpt a person. I can see much of both of my parents in me, the good and the bad. I got my dad's mathematical and logically driven brain. I have my mom's sense of hope and belief in people (maybe to a fault sometimes). While on the nurture side, I've learned from my older brother and friends, along with many (let's say interesting) decisions throughout my life thus far how to be strong, determined, free, and so many other things. Except my sense of humor...that's all mine.

I play on two volleyball teams on Wednesday nights, which I love. I grew up very much in a sports environment. And while I am a fan of football (Packers) and absolutely love the Brewers, I'm really more casual when to sports, even with an unnecessarily in depth understanding of it all.

I'm really looking for someone that wants to learn about all the quirks that make me who I am. My interests, the things that are the make up of me. And even if you don't understand them, or don't find the activity itself interesting, will be excited to experience and learn about them. Because that's what I hope to do myself with you.
What I’m doing with my life
I just got a job as a video editor for a local news station. So I'm excited to actually start my career.
I’m really good at
I'm like to think I'm talented at a multitude of things. I'm pretty well versed in games of trivia, and I take pride in my skills at board games. I like to believe I'm a decent cook, and I have some A1 grilling skills (hooray for puns!). I'm a decent athlete and aside from volleyball, I have been working out numerous times a week.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd like to think that it's that I'm an upbeat and rather hopeful person. I try my best to make any situation entertaining. Aside from that, I often get comments about how blue my eyes are. I think it has a lot to do with having darker hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Honestly I don't really read all that much, aside from comic books. I do enjoy reading philosophical books (especially on Free Will) and I've read all of the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice and loved them.

Movies: I absolutely love movies and can really enjoy just about any I watch. Some of my favorites include Dark Knight, Karate Kid (the 80's one), It's Kind of a Funny Story, Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog, and Serenity.

Shows: Psych, Burn Notice, Fringe, Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, The Guild, The Office, American Dad, Community, Venture Brothers, The Colbert Report, Firefly, Sports Night, Studio 60, Parks and Rec, House. New favorite from this year so far is New Girl.

Music: I'm big into Indie Rock at the moment. Metric, Silversun Pickups, Tegan and Sara, Ramona Falls (Don't know them? Check them out!), Two Door Cinema Club, Florance and the Machine, Margot and the Nuclear So and Sos, AWOLNation, and Foster the People. My favorite band of all time is Our Lady Peace.

Food: I really enjoy most foods, but my favorite genres of food would be Mexican, Chinese and American.
The six things I could never do without
1. My Friends
2. My laptop - it's essential for work
3. Music
4. Peanut Butter and Jelly
5. Autumn
6. Penguins
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may.
On a typical Friday night I am
Eventually working unfortunately. But hopefully hanging out with friends prior to that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am seriously afraid of clowns. If I see one on tv or something, I don't scream, but you'll be hard pressed to get me close to one in real life.
