My self-summary
Here's a list of some things I love:

Forgetting it's just a movie, goose bumps, the innocence of animals, hope, listening to unpopular covers on YouTube, that feeling you get when you first walk out of an airport in big city, tangy BBQ, overcoming hardship, really cold watermelon, the wet noise the net makes on a perfect shot, reaching the summit of the Rickebacker Causeway on my bike, absorbing nature with every sense, sushi, the music in the background of love scenes, standing ovations, laughing
What I’m doing with my life
I've studied at Princeton, Harvard and UM, so education is a big-time priority to me. I work in education -- message me for more info.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, cooking, explaining things, playing sports, analyzing, subtext, solving puzzles, trivia, remembering the lyrics to Disney songs
The first things people usually notice about me
My height, honesty and sense of humor
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: A Land Remembered, The Great Gatsby, Everything by Shakespeare, On the Road, Walden, A Separate Peace, A Clockwork Orange, Oedipus Rex, The Little Prince, The Stranger, Crime and Punishment, The Bell Jar, In Cold Blood, Love in the Time of Cholera, No One Writes to the Colonel, Sophie's Choice, In Search of Lost Time, The Giving Tree, Animal Farm, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, The Metamorphosis

Movies: Cinema Paradiso, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Forrest Gump, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Network, Before Sunrise/Sunset, American Beauty, Moulin Rouge, Il Postino, The Shawshank Redemption, Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hable Con Ella, As Good As It Gets, Good Will Hunting, Sex, Lies and Videotape, Goodfellas, Requiem for a Dream, Closer, Into the Wild, Once, Half Nelson, Revolutionary Road, 500 Days of Summer

Shows: Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos, Planet Earth, Californication, Seinfeld, The Office, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones

Music: Everything in English, Spanish, French and Italian, except for death metal. I don't know, but there's just something agonizing about listening to someone scream like that. It sounds like projectile vomiting. I hate it.

Food: I'm a big, big fan.
The six things I could never do without
I'm tempted to talk about my cellphone, the internet and a flat-screen TV, but I oscillate between needing those things desperately and feeling like I'd be better off without them.

Here's the real list: oxygen, water, food, affection, shelter and sleep.

A list that excluded the basics would include espresso, my bike, my laptop and my library card.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typical? Sabotage much?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Whenever I spend too much time on my laptop, I feel like one of those brainwashed, immobile, fat people from WALL-E, so I fantasize about life in the woods sometimes.

Also, what's with almost every girl on OKcupid saying that she's "open to new things." Everyone's so "open" all of the sudden on here. And laid back. Laid back and open. Are people really that relaxed and receptive to new ideas and experiences or is this some Cosmo-style subliminal message? "Hey ladies, make sure you use 'open' at least three times on your first date with Prince Charming. He won't know what hit him."
