My self-summary
Ok let's get the boring stuff out of the way first!

I'm a Political Science student with a Research Specialization over at WLU, starting my MA in September, and I manage a men's and women's soccer team as my job. I'm from Vancouver (I know I know, what the heck am I doing here?!?) but came to Waterloo because I wanted to go to a small school with a focus on community, and that really doesn't exist out West.

What I found wasn't just a great small school but my new home. It's not easy moving half way across the country but it's worked out as well as i could have hoped for.

I'm an actor, writer, and producer of a theatre festival at Laurier. I was a member of the Canadian National Fly Fishing Team...you're allowed to laugh at me for that...everyone else does. And I work in both Soccer and Education Policy...but not at the same time because that wouldn't make any sense.

If that's piqued your interest then hopefully you message me and I can tell you even more boring details...and maybe some exciting ones too.
What I’m doing with my life
Well...I kind of just answered that didn't I??? Darn you OkCupid for being redundant!
I’m really good at
Cooking actually, I make all my meals from scratch and I love cooking for other people. Also writing, I've written a few short plays that have been put on at WLU and I even wrote for an NHL team for about 4 years.
The first things people usually notice about me
My voice apparently, I have a very distinct and deep voice.

Some people say I sound like Marlon Brando...but that's only when I do a Marlon Brando impersonation...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books? Anything before 1960
Movies? Anything good!
Shows? Anything written by Aaron Sorkin or on HBO
Music? Anything without lyrics!
Food? ALL OF THE TYPES OF FOOD.
The six things I could never do without
1. Laurier
2. The amazing women in my life
3. My Fraternity
4. The Vancouver Canucks
5. Puppies
6. My ties...ok so this might be a lame answer but let me change your mind on the importance of ties. Look, whenever guys wear suits they all look the same; black shoes, black pants, black blazer, soft blue or white or bright teal shirt, and a dreadful striped or solid tie. Suits are mostly the same, even most shirts are the same, but you can do anything with ties! Ties make the whole outfit work! Want to be professional? Throw on some stripes. Want to be formal? Try a solid. Want to be fun and creative? Throw on your favourite polka dot one. Want to be from the 90's? Throw on that fly-fishing themed one.

Ties make the outfit.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Trying to find someone worth finding.
On a typical Friday night I am
Inside studying, or writing. Maybe with some coffee or tea watching hockey. Preferably warm. Preferably not suffering from the flu. Ideally not working but hey! I don't set the schedules.

But on an ideal Friday night I'd be hanging out with you!

Aaaaand that will be the cheesiest line I will use. I got the 'one' bad line out of my system so now I'm good!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My dad is a sort of a Canadian celebrity...he had a nationally syndicated TV show for about 20 years. You've probably seen his show and if you haven't then your parents definitely have!
