My self-summary
Living joyfully and being happy are my ultimate goals in life now. Among many careers and professions I've been a consultant, journalist, educator, life coach, and a political advocate/organizer. I’ve learned the only way to live ‘happily ever after’ is one moment at a time. I'm a romantic artiste with a sharp, witty, ironic sense of humor --a "fireplace and wine" kind of guy. I enjoy live theater, concerts, movies, cultural festivals, eating out, dining in and singing. I've been a gourmet cook -- professionally, at home, and camping. My favorite off-road vehicles are horses.
What I’m doing with my life
Singing, playing, traveling, loving life, and writing.
Going to theatre, concerts, movies, and cultural festivals.
Being self-employed and running my businesses.
Enjoying self-actualization.
I’m really good at
Problem solving. Communicating. Writing. Organizational development. Fundraising. Public relations. Overcoming adversity, and helping others overcome adversity.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my eyes, my aura, and my charisma.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books about self-improvement, consciousness-raising, parapsychology, and politics. I recently started rebuilding my library with the works of Bucky Fuller, Carlos Castaneda, Baba Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Hermann Hesse, Samuel Beckett, Carl Jung, Eric Fromm, Stanislav Grof, et. al.

Movies: E.T., What Dreams May Come, The Big Lebowski, Lonesome Dove, too many to list.

Shows & Music: Musical theater, local concerts, stand-up comedy.

My favorite cuisines are Creole, Cajun, French, Mexican and Italian. .
The six things I could never do without
Loving.
Being loved.
Beanie, my dachshund service dog, who will be 15 in February.
Watching the sun set in the Pacific Ocean from the hot tub on my deck.
The beautiful redwood trees, clean air, and general environment of Humboldt County.
Being self-actualized.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
You.
Who you are.
Where you are.
(I've got everything else figured out ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
No night is ever a "typical" night for me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Taoist lovemaking, combined with Kundalini Tantra, is the greatest experience this reality has to offer.
You should message me if
You resonate with what I've written here, and are interested in meeting me in person.

I'm not interested in long email communications. I prefer Skype or phone until we meet in person. I will give you my full name so you can 'google' me and find out a lot more because I have been forced by circumstances beyond my control to become a "public person."

When I realized self-actualization I realized true happiness comes from within -- not from a relationship with someone lese. So now I can enjoy a soul-mate relationship with any woman who is also self-actualized and happy from within.

I travel frequently all over the nation so I am not limited by geographic distance whatsoever. I am also willing to relocate when I meet someone I'm interested in. However, I plan to keep my home here on the north coast of California to retreat to once in a while.

I'm looking for a woman who is also self-actualized. Because of this the most important and attractive feature for me is a woman’s character, which is reflected in her eyes, her smile, her attitude, and her aura. Next are brains, which means education, experience, the ability to think for herself, and to be self-sufficient, independent, and confident.

I take OKC online dating seriously so I start with 99% matches and go down to 95%. If we are less than a 95% match, please explain why you think we would be compatible and should meet. Our match percentage may increase if you scroll through the more than 2,400 questions I’ve answered and answer more yourself. It will also increase if you look at the 15 tests I’ve taken and take more of them yourself.

Thank you for reading my profile,

Sam
