I am however often called an idealist, and that is usually meant as an insult. Again, doesn't bother me.

Right now what bothers me is writing at least 100 characters only to find where the section is to change me sex from female to male. I never chose female. Trust me. Hopefully this is fixed before any of you all read this MANDATORY 100 words. :-)

RE: Pictures

What should I do....post the best one I have so that I can improve my chances of meeting someone (female)? Or maybe use a picture less than adequate so there is no high expectation if I ever do meet anyone from this site? I know what most do, but I assure you, I am unlike most anyone you know. In a good way, you know? :-)

Also, all those psychological tests you may have opted to take? Sure they are fun, but I do not take any of them seriously, especially if being matched by a computer!

Lastly, I like transparency. So you should know that I once ran a profitable dating/matchmaking site. I started it with a gal I met online through a local BBS. If you know what a BBS is, you get 5 stars in my book. If you do not know what a BBS is, you were not active on your computer in the late 80's early 1990s. But you need not earn 5 stars to impress me LOL. (Like you care!) Psssttt. I don't even have a book.

Wasting away in Margarettaville? I hope not. Currently I am hell bent on acquiring knowledge. I didn't get my Bachelor's degree until I was 40. At that point I decided seeking knowledge was actually fun. I actually look forward to/enjoyed going to "most all" of my classes, It usually depending on the Professor. Can't learn much from a Professor who preaches his/her views. Just the facts--I have my own mind to determine what I hear.

Okay, I agree, that did not answer the question. I am really good at BSing my way through all these questions! If you want get to know me (I'm hoping there are a few of you left)you will not learn that from this site. That I can tell you.

Easy one. I've heard this a lot. My shyness is typically responsible for people to think of me as a snob, cocky, or the holier than thou type person. "stuck up" used to be the term many moons ago. I assure you, I am none of the above.

Books: Take too long to read.

Movies: Underdog type plots--which puts Rocky at the top.

Music: I still listen to "soft rock" and the genre of music when U2 was hot. Since then, I'd rather listen to talk radio than music.

If it rhymes, there is good chance I won't like that music. If yelling and shouting rhymes about killing the police is on the radio--off goes that radio. (Long way to say I despise rap/hip hop). I don't even consider that music.

Food: I can cook :-)

5) My truck, to get away when ever I can.
6) Growing old without starting a family.

Things that need to be changed, and if I can help, I will. This boils down mostly to politics and the law. One, I am not a big fan of.

Working--Then I spend an hour working on the cure for cancer. That last part is not true. Sounds good tho.
