I am fascinated with combining technology, fashion and biology. Currently I'm designing knitwear.
If there's a wall I feel an urge to walk along it.
I have a lot of energy and would like to meet people who can keep me on my toes. I think that flowing conversation is vital and I would like to get to know people who will share things with me as much as I share with them, whether it be new books or music or interesting blogs on architecture and innovative materials.
I really like Mondays due to the fact they are the beginning of a new week and that's exciting because who knows what life is going to throw your way. I'm an eternal optimist.
I have recently (well this year) started focusing on my soul and reading about various spiritual systems. It's heavy and I'm finding lots I don't agree with.
I am teaching myself origami, not the animal models, but complex dodecahedral structures. I am translating some of the techniques into fabrics. I care for a bonsai, I'm not very good at it yet, but that's ok as it grows slowly. I am also teaching myself how to mix essential oils, and then giving my experiments away as gifts to friends. I'm a maker, I can't draw, but I can make things.
I love sitting outside and seeing. I watch the birds flit by from tree to tree, I watch the clouds go by changing shape and finding shapes in them. I find the sky both during the day and at night overwhelmingly beautiful, I like walking home when the stars are out as it seems as though they are welcoming me home.
I would like to have more deep and meaningful conversations with people and learn from them. I am fascinated by philosophy and thinking. Although I need to learn more about various schools of thought.
I care greatly about nature and the planet. 'We borrow the earth from our children,' is a Native American quote I strongly live by.
I do a lot with my life. So I don't have all the time in the world to commit to something full on straight away, but I'm always interested in seeing where a journey goes. Every encounter has a positive outcome.
