I guess I'll start with the fact that I can be very unconventional,
and I am unapologetic about that. I have just as many gay friends
as I do straight friends, and that makes me extremely liberal
minded when it comes to social norms. Sometimes I like to carry
things on my head, it's just comfortable. My family and I will have
conversations across the house entirely in meows, and it was so
prevalent that my friends and I do it too. It will come in handy
one day, if I ever suspect that my friend has been replaced by an
evil doppleganger, I can tell by how they meow back. It totally
justifies it right? I can be a huge nerd in some respects, and I
totally geek out over Godzilla, Doctor Who, anything Joss Whedon,
Ridley Scott, or recently Gareth Edwards. I am so excited for the
new Godzilla film, I will probably spend the whole movie on the
edge of my seat babbling nonsense to my friend who went with me to
humor me. Unless you are also a Godzilla fan, then we can babble
nonsense to each other.
I grew up barefoot in a cornfield, and I am proud of it! I can
honestly say that I have dodged combines in a field. Some of my
fondest childhood memories involve climbing trees and playing in
haylofts, but I enjoy the city just as well as the country. What
makes a place home to me is the people there, not the
surroundings.
Right now I'm a college student at IUB, studying Tourism,
Hospitality, and Event Management. It's kinda a mouthful, so I
usually just tell people I'm studying to work in a hotel. It's
pretty interesting, it takes a lot of people skills, which I'm
still working on. I work two jobs, about 30 hours a week, so I'm
pretty busy. I'm starting to think life in the fast lane might be
the thing for me. I love meeting new people and trying new things,
so bring it on.
