My self-summary
"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

There's so much to see and do in this world that a wasted opportunity could mean that you've lost your chance at that experience forever.

I relish being out of the house. Could be a walk on the beach, a run through the mountains, a drive on a scenic route, a weekend getaway or just grabbing a drink at a local spot.
What I’m doing with my life
Investing in my career while also preparing for a possible transition in the future, hence the masters degree program.

Seeing what the world has to offer through traveling and by experiencing other cultures.

Signing up for random fun runs and some more challenging ones and dragging my friends along. You're welcome to join us on the next one.
I’m really good at
What do I say here without sounding cocky or pompous?

I kind of like figuring things out meaning that I've learned how to fix a lot of random things. The garbage disposal was the latest lesson. I wonder what's next. Let's see what breaks first.

I enjoy team sports as well so I would like to say that I'm at least an average beach volleyball, soccer and softball player.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have all my teeth (apparently some of the guys on here don't) so perhaps it's my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Silver Linings Playbook, Invisible Monsters and Islands of the Damned are recent favorites but I could use some recommendations.

Movies: I've been on a comic book based movie binge for a while now but comedies top the list. "Stay classy...world."

Shows: I'm kind of a nerd at times so its usually something on Discovery Channel or Science Channel, but I do venture to the Travel Channel (you'd be surprised what great restaurants are close by) and TBS (sitcom/comedy).

Music: I've got every genre covered ranging from classic rock to hip hop. You could run through my radio presets and find something you'd like.

Food: I am open to trying new cuisines but I typically love spicy dishes.
The six things I could never do without
Feeling like I should go out on a limb here and go beyond listing the obvious like family and friends, oxygen, water etc. Lets start with...
1. Breakfast
2. My passport
3. Running shoes
4. My camelbak
5. Coffee
6. Dessert
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I'm going to do after work after I've walked my dog. Could be grabbing dinner and a cold beverage with a pal, joining friends on a fun (sometimes challenging) hike, catching a ball game (it is baseball season you know), hitting the road or embarrassing myself at a beach volleyball game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on who's available and what I've got planned Saturday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I could've been a twin. Scary, I know.
