Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi! :) I have dreams of changing the world but also appreciate the
simple moments of a peaceful life. I believe in the days when men
were chivalrous and would do anything for true love. I believe that
love is the most worthwhile thing in the world, and I try to let
this guiding principle draw me toward truth-rich experiences.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Having just moved to Austin, I'm working on meeting new people, as
well as working on a career as a musician. Oh yeah, and I'm going
to school to become an engineer - it's kind of a big thing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The key in life is discerning what is worth spending time on;
everything else is just patience & practice.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a kind and sincere smile and voice.
Please say "hi!" I'd love to hear from you :)

are Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre, Critical Path by Buckminster
Fuller, Demian by Herman Hesse, and I'm still looking for a book
that delivers the profound bliss of reaching Enlightenment in the
modern world: perhaps I'll have to write it. Also love The
My favorite movies are The Matrix, The Fountain, 2001 A Space
Odyssey, Napoleon Dynamite, Vanilla Sky, Amelie, and The Perks Of
Being A Wallflower. Gravity was really good too.
My favorite show is Game of Thrones, and I used to love Lost until
the unsatisfying conclusion, but the show is still excellent
My favorite music: Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead,
Queen, The Flaming Lips, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Massive Attack,
and Bjork. One of my goals in life is to write an album better than
Dark Side Of The Moon. It will happen some years from now (will you
help me?), and it will be very steampunk. You can check out my
music at voldbook.com
My favorite food is first and foremost Healthy: greek, italian,
chinese, etc. I am up for trying new things! :) ...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
are water, food, sunlight, true love, the stars, and dreams.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how reincarnation might work. On what principles might we carry on?
I am convinced that the purpose of life in this universe is to
facilitate the evolution of consciousness. I dream about what I can
do to ensure my consciousness, and the consciousness of others,
ends up among the stars where more creative and nurturing worlds
surely exist at this very moment. I picture what these utopias
might be like, and I believe that my imagining them brings me
closer to existing there. You might call such a place Heaven; I
want to go to Heaven, and I want to bring all my friends and loved
ones with me.
Like a knight in a dark forest, I expect that anything is possible
and believe only in the power of my crusade and true love.
Everything else is background noise I try to filter out.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
searching for my other half or reading at Paschall Bar in Denton.
Scratch that; can you show me around Austin?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Everything I'm willing to admit is private; I live my life like an
open book. We have nothing to fear and should thus live outside our
walls, unafraid of judgment or ridicule. How can we be praised and
grow if we close-off our true natures to the world?
