My Self-Summary

Here's a little about myself. I grew up South of Detroit and am an only child. I absolutely love the outdoors and playing sports. Some of my favorite sports include softball, basketball, ultimate frisbee, golf, hockey, football, etc. I've recently started running and also enjoy biking, pilates and yoga.

When not playing organized sports, I love to read, cook, learn and spend time my family and friends.

What I’m doing with my life

I went to college in Flint and received my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. I recently started a new job as an application buyer which is a little outside my engineering background but is extremely interesting so far. I'm so thankful to be back to work!

I’m really good at

Being helpful. I won the most helpful mock election in high school and have since carried on the tradition. I'm the friend that will be there for you in the middle of the night if you need something. I care about the people I have in my life and hope relationships with my family and friends very close. I strive to be the best friend and daughter I can be.

I've also been told I'm pretty good at Sports too :-) I enjoy playing softball (3rd base), kickball, ultimate frisbee, flag football, golf and volleyball.

Cooking. I love to cook and have quite a mixture of recipes I can prepare. Since I've been on the health kick though, I've been eating a lot of salad. :(

The first things people usually notice about me

My height. Being a 6 foot tall chick has it's advantages and disadvantages. It's hard to find long enough dress pants! LOL The older I get the more I feel like I stand out with my height. Crazy!

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I like to read all kinds of books and really don't have any favorites at this point.

My family is Hungarian so I also enjoy making some of the traditional meals like stuffed cabbage, chicken paprikas and chicken soup. :)

The six things I could never do without

MyFamily - am an only child but have 2 cousins that are like brothers to me.

Friends - I've met an amazing group of people in the past 2 years. We play co-ed sports, laugh and support each other. I couldn't ask for more caring and sincere friends!

Education - Go Bulldogs! I'm so thankful to have been able to go to college and my life has changed forever because of it. Perhaps more education is in my future as well? I'm not entirely sure at this point.

Music - I love all types of music and will give everything a chance. I don't care for hardcore rap or country but have nothing against it. Just not for me.

The great outdoors and sports - What would I do without the outdoors! I love to fish,camp and hike. I also LOVE watching/playing sports and get emotionally involved while the games are on! :)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

the decisions I've made in life and how they have brought me to where I am. If I could go back in time, I may have chosen a different career. I like engineering and all (let's me use my logical brain) but I think I'd been better suited as a nurse or teacher.

When not daydreaming about the past or how to fix the future, I like to think about the Universe. That may sound corny but it's true. It facinates me just how large and infinite the universe is. I'd love to travel in space someday although that is highly unlikely. You never know! I did win the "When I grow up" speech contest in elementary school saying that I will be an astronaut. :)

On a typical Friday night I am

Typical is not part of my vocabulary. I like to spice things up and do these different as often as I can. Some Friday's you can find me out with some buddies, helping my folks, at Bingo with my Grandma :) , enjoying a good sporting event, fishing, camping or just relaxing with a good book at home.

I'm not a big partier but have been known to shake my booty from time to time. ha!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a trekkie.. Live Long and Prosper! Like I mentioned earlier, I like to go to Bingo with my Grandma too. She is the best!
