My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love to cook and to travel. I'm close to my parents and sisters even though they live far away. Working to make the world a better place especially for women and girls is important to me.

I am optomistic, adventurous, and kind
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Always thinking about where my next trip will be. I recently visited New Zealand where a cruise on Doubtful Sound was amazing and kayaking at Able Tasman was great too. The Auckland Arts and Culture Festival provided an intersting concert. And I bought some Girl Guide "biscuits" from a group with a booth in a park.
I work for a company that provides technology solutions to non-profits. I think of myself as some one who is good at translating between fundraisers and database managers.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Throwing a dinner party and having the courage to try a new recipe.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I recently read Shadow of the Wind set in Barcelona. Barbara Kingsolver is a favorite author. Nevada Barr's park ranger detective is great for plane rides. I enjoyed listening to the Newport Folk Festival thanks to NPR. I'm learning about opera and plan to go to Denver to see my nephew who has a nonsinging roll in The Tales of Hoffman.

I love to cook. Grilled salmon and coconut lime sorbet are some of my favorites. Last weekend I made butternut squash gnocchi with Swiss chard. For breakfast there is nothing better than waffles with fresh blueberries and warm maple syrup. We are so lucky to have access to such great local produce.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
time to spend outdoors
good olive oil
my glasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to inspire the girls in my Girl Scout troop.
What new recipe I will try.
Where to travel to next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Recovering from a busy week at work and planning where to hike or kayak over the weekend.
