My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Feminist, Liberal, Comic Book fan, generally just awesome.

That is kind of a general blurb about my life. I'm a politically passionate to like a level most people find ridiculous. I've worked in politics it something so much of my life has revolved around so it is something very natural for me. I love to sit around and talk about policy and current events. Philosophically I don't want or have to always agree with someone but it is nice to to have someone who is on the same book when it comes to the big issues. There are certain things though that I absolutely won't stand for: misogyny, sexism, racism, trans*phobia, homophobia and general ass hattery about ability or size. Those things don't fly with me. Wow that comes off as a bit harsh, but true. I'm a liberal activist, I work my ass off and I get a lot of that crap at work (seriously you'd be surprised to hear the things people say to me). It would be nice at the end of the day to have a partner that sort of gets how important those things are to me. I just want to have a similar value system with someone. I would still describe myself as a pretty understanding person but I have to draw the line somewhere and those are my lines.

I'm also a little obsessed with Aquaman. Seriously he is my favorite super hero. Make fun of me if you like but he is kind of just amazing. Like seriously I can go on forever about him, it might be a little sad

I'm generally just a social, sweet, funny and motivated girl. I think you should totally get to know me, but I'm a little biased.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm back to being a student but I also work on political campaigns and do organizing for nonprofits. I'm really involved in community organizing around healthcare. You know those awful political calls you get in the middle of dinner? That is me, you're welcome.
In a lot of ways my life revolves around helping people and trying to secure a better future. That is the whole reason I got into politics and activism, I want to see change in the world. The best way to do that is to roll up your sleeves and just get to it. I want to be able to say that I made the world a little bit better everyday

When I'm not out doing political activism or school, I'm usually just chilling with friends. I've been described as the life of the party more times than I can tell you.

My smile and laugh. Apparently I do both of them often enough for them to be of note. More recently I keep getting comments on my eyes so that is something

I need to put this out there right now I'm obsessed with A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm still finishing up Dances with dragons but my god it is amazing. I have so many theories and so many expectations!

Doctor Strangelove or how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb is one of my favorite movies of all time. It is just great i recommend it. Favorite recent book has to be A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan, it was the most brilliant thing I ever picked up. If i had to choose a favorite band I would say Okkervil River, maybe Peter, Bjorn, and John. I just love food lets leave it at that.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Fried Tofu
2) My Phone, it is kind of my life.
3) A good book, I'm currently consuming Do Not Ask What Good We Do
4) My Laptop

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
politics, Aquaman, RPG's, what my next DnD charcter should be, and when I'm going to sleep next.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
these days I'm working sadly. My ideal Friday night would be grabbing a drink with some friends at a quiet neighborhood bar, while discussing politics, generally nerdy things, and intersectionality
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm horribly afraid of spiders, like horribly so. Strangely I can't kill them though it makes me really sad so I trap them under cups and take them outside.
