Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I moved to the area almost a year ago for a job with a Greenwich
architecture firm. But I still feel like I haven't met anyone
outside of work. I'm hoping to change that.
I LOVE to travel! I've been all over New England and quite a few
states on the East Coast. I've visited Italy, Switzerland, Germany,
France, Greece and Spain. Eventually I want to visit all 50 US
States and at least one country on each continent (its on my bucket
I grew up on the shoreline so if I go without seeing the ocean for
too long, I go stir-crazy. I love laying on the bow of a boat,
watching the hull slice through the waves. The dichotomy of man vs.
nature in that moment amazes me.
I love being outside whether that's on a boat, at the beach, in my
garden, or walking through the woods. I love every season for its
own unique reasons, so I could never pick a favorite. There is
something magical about snow, reinvigorated about nature blossoming
in spring... There's something sexy about the summer heat countered
by cool ocean waves, and the riot of fall color in New England is
I can almost always find the good in everything, even if it takes
hindsight to achieve that clarity. Because of this, I love to try
new things, and I'm always willing to explore new activities, ideas
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I love my job! I work 9 to 5 normally but then I have an hour
commute each way. I try to hit the gym every day after work so I'm
pretty busy during the week. The past year has flown by and I still
feel new to the area so I am looking forward to meeting new people
and exploring new places!
I want someone who works hard, but plays hard too. I'm very driven
and I bust my butt to do well with my work, but I am also very
playful and silly. I want a man who can appreciate and match my
work ethic as well as my inner child.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
fine arts, design, writing, academics, listening...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
To be honest, most people notice my chest first, which does not
make me happy but I have accepted it as an unfortunate truth... My
eyes are usually the second thing. They are mostly brown, but when
the light hits them you can see flecks of green, and when I
genuinely smile you can see it in my eyes...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love to read! Anything from sci-fi and fantasy, to historical
fiction and romance, to memoirs and classics. Some of my favorites
are the Life of Pi, Silas Marner, Running with Scissors and Mad
House. And of course, I adore the Fifty Shades Trilogy!
I like all different kinds of movies. I watch chick flicks with my
girl friends, action and war movies with my guy friends, and I love
My favorite TV shows at the moment are Criminal Minds, Law &
Order: SVU, NCIS, the Big Bang Theory, and How I Met Your Mother. I
am also slightly embarrassed to admit I love The Notebook,
Twilight, The Vampire Diaries, and Grey's Anatomy, but I promise
I'll never force you to watch them with me, hehehee.
For music, I listen to a little bit of everything so chances are
I'll enjoy something on your playlist.
I don't like eggs for breakfast, butter on my toast, or cheese on
anything except pizza. But I like most other things and I'm always
willing to try something new. Seafood is probably my favorite food
group, and Italian my favorite cooking style. I've been pretty
strict with my diet lately as I'm trying to lose some weight. I'm
normally not a pick-at-a-salad chick but lately that's the story of
my life. When I reach my goals I promise to splurge and eat a
burger or pizza with you...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Faith. I may not be the most religious person on the planet. I
don't go to church every Sunday like I should and there are things
I wish I had done differently. I may not talk about it and I
certainly won't preach at you, but my spirituality is important. At
the end of the day, my faith in God is unwavering and I know I am
eternally grateful for all he has given me.
2. My family, especially my eldest sister Megan. She has Down
Syndrome and is the embodiment of all things kind and innocent and
loving. She is my angel, my inspiration, and if you don't love
Megan you will never have a chance with me. I consider my friends
to be an extension of my family.
3. My hands. I love to draw and design and I would flounder without
4. My pets. When I go too long without a visit to my parents I go
through puppy-withdrawal, lol. I also have a cat. I can't imagine
living without him, even when he misbehaves...
5. My photos. I love keeping scrapbooks to commemorate my
experiences, especially my travels. I would be devastated if I ever
6. My journal. It contains my rambles, plenty of word vomit and
drivel, but also my hopes, my dreams, and my secrets.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
all the ways the world is cruel and unfair and ugly, and all the
things I would love to do to make it humane and just and beautiful.
I know I cannot save the world, but if I can bring loveliness to a
few people, I could die happy, knowing that I brought a little
sunshine to a bleak world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On good Friday nights, I'm usually watching a movie with my
friends, or grabbing a beer or a glass of wine somewhere.... Or
lately I'm at the gym after work and am too tired to go out
after... Saturday nights are when I usually go out
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love whipped cream to a disgusting degree. Whether its homemade
and fresh, or from the store, I do not care. I'll eat it by the
spoonful or straight from the can. If you cannot appreciate this,
we have no future together, lol...
You should message me if

you are interested, or if I message you first... Even if you just
tell me you're not interested, I'm fine with that. Anything is
better than being ignored.
I am a very straight forward and honest person and I'm looking for
a guy who actually knows how to communicate. I love
marathon-txting, sleepy late-night phone calls and curling up with
a guy for the serious talks. Trust is incredibly important to me,
so even the little white lies are unacceptable. And I don't do
games, so if you want to play, please don't bother me...
