Hi there! Well, first things first, I seem to have a problem summarizing ...

I'm a small town girl making her way in the big city (I'm every chick flick you've ever seen apparently...) and loving life. I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. I did the university thing for three years, but left to follow my true passion: pastry arts. I work baker's hours (i.e shitty) so I don't have a lot of chances to meet people. So basically that all culminates to you reading this now. I am a very ambitious person and I love to be around people who are motivated and fun loving. I love experimenting with new foods and recipes, so if you love to eat, I'm your girl. I also have a huge passion for music. If you're musical, we can jam. If you're not, I'm sure I can serenade you if bribed :P

I am very easygoing, and I have a huge heart (figuratively, not literally. I'm sure it's normal sized) and I would drop everything and run for my worst enemy if they needed me. I'm a trusting person, and I trust until I'm given a reason not to. While I'm not necessarily looking for a relationship, though not ruling it out either if the right person comes along, I'd like to be with someone that treats me as an important part of their life (below food, water, air, and necessities), and not just an option. The only games I like are board games or video games so please, don't waste either of our times with insincerity and drama.

Overall, I'm looking for someone honest, fun and genuine. Late night movie marathons? I'll grab the popcorn. Spur of the moment road trips? I'll pitch for gas and be ready in 5! Super Smash Bros competition (you're going down by the way ...)? If you promise not to cry when I beat you, game on ;) I just might be your girl.

I work full time in a french bakery saving up for pastry school, I have my own small baked goods business on the side, AND I write a baking humour column for a newspaper while writing my own blog. Basically I'm in the kitchen all the time, and I know that means I'm perpetuating the female stereotype like mad, but I love what I do. I love where my life is going and I'm looking for someone to enjoy the little things with (with whom to enjoy the little things ...)

Books: I absolutely love to read; fiction, non-fiction, doesn't matter. Favourites would include Book Thief, The 5 people you meet in heaven, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Sex Drugs and Cocoa Puffs and the Song of Ice and Fire series. My future home is going to have a kick ass library with revolving shelves. It's happening.

Movies: My top two favourite movies would probably be Shawshank Redemption, and Bon Cop Bad Cop, but I love all kinds of movies. Whether it's an embarrassingly cheesy comedy or a pretentious foreign film where you have to squint to see the subtitles, it can be so much fun, especially with good company and stale popcorn.

TV: I haven't had a lot of time to watch tv as of late so I'm a bit behind in that regard. I do watch an embarrassing amount of TLC and the food network, and I feel like I know more about wedding dresses and wine reductions than any person really should. I'm also an avid Dr Who fan and I love Sherlock (but not Elementary. Shit is weak). I'm going to be on Jeopardy one day. Fact.

Music: If the music has a good beat, it's safe to say that I will be into it, though I have a bit of a soft spot for jazz and 80s rock.

Food: Anyone that knows me can tell you that food is my life. I love to cook, bake, and create new recipes (messing up my kitchen in the process). I am always up for trying something new when it comes to food, but sushi is probably my all-time favourite standby (like everyone else on okc, seemingly). I'm also a firm believer that salad has its time and place, but sometimes there's just nothing better than a big juicy cheeseburger and fries.

Let's be real here, as human beings we don't need much to survive, but saying things like "food, water, oxygen" seems like both a buzz kill and a cop out. So I suppose things that make survival more enjoyable for me would be:

warm blankets
the cool side of the pillow
ice cold lemonade on a hot summer day
physical affection
thunderstorms
a working oven
the feeling of coming home after a crappy day
being able to count to six

Do you have typical Friday nights? I don't. I can tell you that you will almost certainly not find me at a club (unless it's a special occasion or I've had a frontal lobotomy), but you may find me eating delicious food and saving my drunken friends from potential peril

I frequently drink juice out of the carton to save dishes ... I make enough of them at work :P

Also, I can't skate to save my life ... no really, it's embarrassing.
