I'm a pretty happy girl, laid back and fairly chill. I'm friendly, sometimes sarcastic, and while I tend to sometimes be quiet, I do love to laugh. I moved to pdx 9 years ago on a whim, had never been here before, but once I arrived, knew that I loved it. I actually like the rain! I'm fortunate to have awesome friends, a great family, a decent job with goals for more, a house with a sweet garden, and a couple of goofy dogs in the yard. Life is pretty sweet, just no one to share it with right now!
I am creative, a smart-ass, independent, affectionate, and very liberal. I'm a night owl, but I prefer daytime activities like farmers markets, museums/galleries, art festivals, excursions to new places. I'm an observer and I love people watching, and I tend to find humor in the random things in life. I love the outdoors and gardening is my zen time.
Hoping to meet someone who complements my own personality, someone who has similar interests (on some things at least), someone who gets my random jokes and enjoys wandering around finding new places. Mostly, I'm hoping to meet someone real, down to earth, liberal in politics, somewhat edgy, and super funny.

Books - I read a lot......mostly novels, some history. Harry Potter, The DaVinci Code, Pillars of the Earth, Poisonwood Bible, the Story of Edgar Sawtelle
Movies - all kinds, dramas, comedies, romantic comedies, action/thrillers...from independent film to summer blockbuster
TV - I'm a sucker for Law&Order, Arrested Development, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and HBO-type series: Deadwood, Rome, The Wire, Weeds
Music - most.... with the exception of rap & country.... but my all time favs range from the Beatles & Bob Dylan to Coldplay & The Killers.
Food - All ethnic types (I think, but I haven't tried everything...yet!), however I do not enjoy seafood (ok for you, not for me)
