My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
No, don't read this! Turn back! It's not too late! What information lies within is not for the faint of heart! Very well, mere mortal; you shall have what you wish.

I'm a huge nerd, and kind of weird. I like to find the humour in the world, and imagine things in a way that makes people laugh. I love making people laugh, or even just smile.
I'm old before my time, but it's adorable. I'm extroverted but have my introverted moments. I'm told I'm a very considerate lover. I like everybody until they give me a reason not to.
I hate politics, but I believe it's important to know what's going on in the world. I'm not a fan of religion but I think people can believe whatever they like. I'm built like a linebacker but I avoid fights.
I have a short fuse sometimes, but fortunately the stick of dynamite it's attached to is very small! Unlike the rest of me, which is just huge. I have occasionally been mistaken for an escaped gorilla or missing evolutionary link.

"The best revenge is not giving a damn what they think of you."

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm pursuing higher education (the Creative Communications program at RRC) so that one day I can be a published author instead of peddling cigarettes and lottery tickets to mouth breathers.

I like writing fiction in my spare time and playing D&D, watching movies and going bike riding.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Metaphor and simile. Being funny. Persuasiveness. Back rubs. Earthbending.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile, and the fact that I'm just sort of enormous.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't get to read as much as I'd like to, but Discworld, The Dresden Files, John Dies at the End, and To Kill a Mockingbird are all on my shelf. I still have a soft spot for The Hundred and One Dalmatians (the book, not the films).

I have entirely too many favorite movies but if I had to narrow it down, I'd say... *inhale* Singin' in the Rain, Arsenic and Old Lace, McLintock!, Iron Man, Iron Man 3, The Avengers, The Dark Knight, Grave Encounters, The Cabin In The Woods, The Gods Must Be Crazy, RED, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Uncle Buck, Secondhand Lions, Life Is Beautiful, To Kill a Mockingbird, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Prestige, a few Star Trek movies, Star Wars (IV thru VI), The Emperor's New Groove, The Iron Giant, Chicken Run, The Incredibles, WALL•E, and The Worlds End.

I don't watch much TV, but I'm always game for Community, Archer, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Once Upon a Time, Monk, Doctor Who, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I'll listen to virtually any music if it's good, but my favorites are Owl City, Queen, Weird Al Yankovic, Nero, Muse, Marianas Trench, Lady GaGa and Robin Skouteris. Recently I've been getting into The Shins and Seether

I like buffets, because then I can try a little bit of everything. Noticing a pattern here? (SPOILER: I'm eclectic.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends
2. Caffeine
3. Showers
4. Nail clippers
5. Fingers
6. Sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm that guy that thinks too much. I think about the universe and my place in it. I think about the future. I think about sexism and feminism. I think about movies. Since I'm an amateur writer, I think about plots and characters a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Spending time with friends. I'm not one for bars; if I'm going to drink I'd rather do it at home, where it's cheaper, with friends and no chance of getting covered in a stranger's puke. I don't do clubs, either; if I want to be pressed against a bunch of sweaty strangers I'll take a public bus. :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I kind of enjoy Insane Clown Posse in a weird, ironic hipster way
