My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am fun loving and adventurous, affectionate and playful. I'm looking for a true gentleman (most of the time is perfectly acceptable...I'm 99% angel myself!) I'm lighthearted and spontaneous, loving the simple things in life - cooking great food, enjoying a stimulating conversation, relaxing and listening to music. I have a positive take on life, am fancy free at that, have my head in the clouds but am down to earth with my feet on the ground. I take great care of myself although I'm not "high maintenance," and like to work out at the gym as well as anything that can get me outdoors for some fresh air. I'm well skilled in all the feminine arts...(hmm!), have a wicked sense of humor and appreciate the same in my partner who can laugh along with me at life. I'm a country girl at heart but enjoy the city for gourmet food, galleries and people watching, enjoy gardening and always have fresh herbs for the kitchen. I grew up in the south but I'm definitely not the typical southern belle - not a "rock the boat" kind of person, mind you, I just can't tolerate those who don't/won't/can't think for themselves and who accept all the dogma life thrusts upon them. I am more concerned about how you treat your fellow man rather than how often you go to church; love animals (sometimes more than people) and St. Francis is my favorite saint. I have a peaceful and loving nature and a "live and let live" attitude, have a wide array of interests and love just being outdoors in nature. My ancestry is Russian and Welsh which makes an interesting combination (grin!)

Professionally I have worn many hats and now that my priorities have changed in life, I'm delving in arts and crafts, find metalsmithing really challenging and design as well as fabricate my own jewelry.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Becoming more of myself and expanding my horizons. I am truly becoming the person I always wanted to be and find life really exciting now. I'm proud of my accomplishments and the way I create possibilities.

I would like a man to keep me warm at night, to hold me and just breathe in my essence while softly kissing me.

Until then, I am doing laps at the pool, perfecting my swimming style and not holding my breath. I belong to the church of the pragmatist; whereas some people say, "Praise the Lord" we say, "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition."
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making things happen, fabricating in metal. Making people laugh at the absurdities in life.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My casual elegance, nonchalance and fun loving attitude. I have a warm smile that people respond to and a definite gleam in my blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love food. Food is one of the blessings this world has to offer. I would prefer a hole in the wall restaurant with absolutely fantastic food to a snobbish eatery. I love to cook and experiment with new cuisines.

I love the screwball classics, The Thin Man series and My Man Godfrey with William Powell and Carole Lombard are among my favorites. I am a "Toon Head" and am collecting my favorite cartoons from the 20s and 30s.

Music is very important in my life. I listen to everything from baroque classical and liturgical chant to trip hop with a good measure of jazz and rock 'n roll thrown in. I enjoy medieval/ancient music all the way to contemporary classics. I grew up listening to big band music and have inherited a wide selection of 78's (Artie Shaw was my hero when I was 8 years old.)

I don't really have time just now for reading but am currently enjoying Zola's The Belly of Paris. Robert Burns is a man after my own heart writing "To a Mouse" which is best known for the lines, "The best laid plans of mice and men go often awry." I have a favorite expression - "if ignorance is bliss, why aren't more people happy!?!"
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Intellectual, spiritual and physical stimulation, calamari fritti, daydreaming while listening to music and people who think for themselves. Wait. That's not six so I'll have to think of some more.

A jug of wine, a loaf of bread and thou....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How things work and figuring out a better way to make them work. What I can do to make the universe a better place.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Listening to Ella Fitzgerald. Wishing I were a piece of pizza.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I fell off a horse once. Okay. More than once but I got back in the saddle each and every time.

You love to eat pizza on Friday nights.

You like homemade biscuits, waffles or blueberry buttermilk pancakes on Sunday mornings, perhaps with home-cured bacon and with freshly squeezed orange juice to wash it all down.

And last but not least,

you're a real man looking for a real woman.
