My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let’s be real: I’m not a color-in-the-lines type of woman. For me, life is about enjoying the great pleasures and creating joy with art, cuisine and exploration, while also being serious, taking care of the day-to-day elements, such as family, health and income. I’m an entrepreneur and run two businesses. This is great for flexibility and setting my own schedule and also means I may be working nights and weekends, so no 9to5 for me.

Here are some labels: I’m a Buddhist, I’m a biker. Any day of the week, you can find my in the gym, at a mediation class, receiving acupuncture, spending time loving my friends and family, in the kitchen developing recipes, attending art openings and riding with my all women’s motorcycle club (I go to the office, too!). I identify bi-sexual, and I’m open to all types of relationships with all genders.

My partners trend towards also being outside of the box in their approach to life. Happy, funny, creative, healthy, self-aware, emotionally mature, spiritual, compassionate, responsible, serious, achievement-oriented are words to describe those who I am attracted to. Burners, too.

Some relationship deal breakers: Spirituality is important to me. We may be practicing different religions, or you may not practice at all, but an understanding of interconnectedness, service and grace are fundamental. Emotional health and self-awareness are also foundational. I have been married and divorced and am no longer interested in birthing children, as I am 41, but I do love kids. So, if you have them already, that's great with me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I came to DC from NYC to change the world, like so many of us here. I live at the intersection of arts, activism and advocacy.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Maps. I've never been lost in my life. I have a small map tattoo. In my former professional life, I was an urban planner.

My friends tell me I am their life coach. That is a rewarding side job. I am a positive and mentally strong person, and I am happy to share the map of how I got here.

I am also good at crafting. Cooking. Hosting events and parties. Building a fun and joyous life. Smiling. Laughing.

What I am reading now: A Clash of Kings, Proficient Motorcycling, Fat is a Feminist Issue. I think this says a lot about me. A Clash of Kings is pure fun, Proficient Motorcycling is for knowledge and learning a new skill, and Fat is a Feminist Issue is about emotional growth and activism. So, I never update this, but I'd say this list is illustrative of what I am usually reading and thinking about.

My life revolves around good food, cycling and biking, and all types of art. So, if you want to eat well, travel on two wheels, and experience or create art, I am your woman.
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make the world healthier, happier, more just. I love my three goddaughters and I think about how to make a better future for them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
at an art gallery opening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

My motorcycle really is my primary relationship. Joking. Sorta. I love my bike.
