What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Third year med student, just moved down to Royal Oak.

When I'm not doing actual school work, I enjoy doodling and drawing. Lately, I've been working on getting an anatomy illustration project started.

I also really enjoy long-distance running, which seems to be the only non-academic thing that I do these days. It's been interesting learning to run in the snow, but I've done a few half half-marathons this winter and I'm eager to get back to doing full marathons in the spring.

Questions about ethics and health/social policy. I studied philosophy for my undergraduate degree and spent most of my time working on environmental ethics, bioethics, and general normative ethics. Yay, intellectual things! (P.S. Since I always get asked, my favorite philosophers are J. Baird Callicot, Holmes Rolston III, and Judith Jarvis Thompson. No, not Neitzsche.)

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Thursday is actually the fun night for me, which usually means studying into the evening and then hitting bar trivia night with my friends. I am a trivia wiz.

If you're a person who really cares about making the world a better place, that will get you more points in my book than just about anything else. I don't really care if you're a lawyer, teacher, social worker, or wandering ascetic, as long as you're trying.
