My self-summary
I am a musician and occasional writer of songs that world has yet to fully appreciate ;) I make my living teaching guitar, playing music and occasionally recording it...
What I’m doing with my life
Working on various musical projects, teaching at a high school, writing and performing. So perhaps obviously, music is very important to me, if I'm not playing a gig, working on songs or teaching I'm often to be found scouring the charity shops for old vinyl...it's something of an obsession. I like loads of different types of music from electro to classical but I suppose I generally tend toward the folky singer-songwriter type direction.
I’m really good at
Cooking, I'm pretty good at playing the guitar...and brilliant at putting my foot in it. Here's a link to my youtube channel in case you're curious:

The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm probably shorter than I appear...unless encountered from a distance.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I studied European Philosophy and Literature at uni but managed to get a degree whilst reading not a great a deal...although it hasn't done me much good since...I have seen "Withnail and I" many, many times...I also love Leon but otherwise not much of a film buff...I'm happy to be educated though! I loved Catch 22...had to read that again and also recently Lionel Shriver's "We need to talk about Kevin" was devoured in three sittings. "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" also had me transfixed. Lately I've enjoyed Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor".

I love many different types of music from electronica through to folk and classical. Favourites include Pentangle, Iain Morrison, King Creosote and John Hopkins, Pierre Bensusan, Django Reinhardt, Bon Iver, John Martyn, Michale Chapman, Doc Watson, Paul Simon, Air, Johnny Flynn, Stone Temple Pilots, Fionn Regan, Count Basie, Martin Carthy...and many more...
The six things I could never do without
Guitar
Music
Books
Fresh air
Decent beer
Time to enjoy them!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How it is I wound up with so much stuff to think about :S
On a typical Friday night I am
Out watching a band, playing a gig or chilling at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Def Leppard were once amongst my favourite bands...but everyone deserves another chance right?
You should message me if
You want to chat or fancy some fun with a couple.
