My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My Myers-Briggs personality type is INTP.

From a very young age I have been driven to create. This passion has manifested itself in many ways during my life. From illustration and graphic design to video editing and Photoshop, I have always been committed to discovering new things and learning new skills.

I'm very laid back and easy-going and I enjoy a good conversation, although I am terrible at small talk.

I like to laugh, and I like people that make me laugh.

When I meet people for the first time I'm quiet, kind of awkward and I don't smile much.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently volunteered at a local charitable organisation helping European students improve their English.

Right now I am employed full time with an employment agency. I don't expect it to last that long but I hope it will springboard me into more permanent employment.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Not messaging you because I can never think of anything interesting, witty, or funny to say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I am a big fan of the Alien franchise (Alien, Aliens, Alien3 etc). Aliens is my favourite film of all time. It's not just the films I love, I also love the video games and the comic books. Aliens vs Predator 2 is my favourite video game of all time.
In order to keep this section as brief as possible. I'm only going to list 5 things per subject. I'll include short explanations.

Books.

I'm going to include Comic Books and Manga in this list. Because Comics and Manga are awesome.

Nineteen Eighty Four. This book left quite an impression on me.
Watchmen. I read this because a coworker recommended it to me and I was not disappointed. My favourite character is Dr Manhattan.
Crying Freeman. One of the best Mangas around. The artwork is brilliant and the story really draws you in.
Berserk. Another fantastic Manga. Although I really hope they get off that ship soon.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. By far my favourite Manga of all time. It has been going strong for 16 years now and there are no signs that it's going to stop any time soon.

Films.

When it comes to films I don't really have any favourites besides Aliens. I'm only listing films that I could watch multiple times without getting sick of them, and I'm including animated films & Anime.

Spaceballs. In my opinion Spaceballs is probably one of the best comedy films ever made.
Redline. An Anime film directed by Takeshi Koike. Not only does this film have an amazing soundtrack, the animation is beautiful (and it's all hand drawn). It's a really exciting and entertaining take the whole "wacky races" idea.
Predator. "If it bleeds we can kill it." "Get to the chopper." Need I say more?
Event Horizon. This is one of the best horror films I've ever seen. It's made even better by the fact that I have a massive boner for Science Fiction and space.
The Fifth Element. A great Science Fiction film. Gary Oldman is really good at playing villains.

Television.

House. This was a fantastic show and now that it's finished I feel like a part of my life is missing.
True Blood. In my opinion this is a rare case of a vampire show done right. I know some people might mock me for enjoying this show but I don't give a damn what those people think.
Breaking Bad. Another fantastic show. Why did it have to end?
Adventure Time with Finn and Jake. If you don't like this show you have no soul.
Babylon 5. One of the best Science Fiction television shows ever made. It had me gripped from start to finish.

Music.

This list is going to be particularly difficult for me because my taste in music is extremely eclectic.

Tool. To many people I guess Tool is the typical teen angst band. Personally I find Tools music deserves more respect than that. I enjoy most of the work that Maynard James Keenan is involved in. My favourite tracks are Parabol/Parabola and Lateralus.
Frank Turner. An English folk singer from Hampshire. I really enjoy the majority of his songs. Personal favourites include Love Ire & Song and Photosynthesis.
Daft Punk. Who doesn't like a bit of Daft Punk?
David Bowie. I've always quite liked Bowie.
Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip. I don't normally listen to British Hip Hop but when I do it's Dan le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip. Pips lyrics and Dans beats go together like peas and carrots.

Instead of food I'm going to list
Video Games.

Team Fortress 2. I quite enjoy playing TF2. I'm part of an online gaming community and we play TF2 together quite often. It's good fun.
Mortal Kombat. Specifically Mortal Kombat 9 (the one that was released in 2011). One of my favourite fighting games. I'm really good with Reptile. Though I'm not quite good enough to compete online.
XCOM: Enemy Unknown. This is my favourite game of 2012. It is challenging while not being irritating or frustrating at all. It strikes the perfect balance between challenge and fun.
Rayman Origins. This is the best platformers I have played in years. It's really fun and is even better when you play with a friend.
Command & Conquer. I'm talking about the first C&C. I have really fond memories of ordering my troops around and building massive armies to completely overwhelm my enemies. Plus the music was awesome.
