Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
August 2014: I've been on this site for about a year now, met some
amazing people and enjoyed every minute of it. Somehow, though, I
am still looking for the all-elusive relationship.
I am open to many mind-expanding adventures. I am active but like
to hang out, like to travel and stay home, (love my home by the
way), like to socialize but am also pretty private. I'm very into
making music and tend to listen to acoustic and classical. Sex is
important to me but it needs to be fulfilling, not just
I've had and am looking for a deep connection with a man who is
active, confident, friendly and comfortable with himself. From
there, with honesty and integrity, all doors are open, including
non traditional relationships. Hopefully you get the idea. On the
surface, you wouldn't know any of this about me; I appear to be
just your normal, everyday optimist!
I used to have this long legal warning about not using my profile
without asking, I've decided to shorten that, but you get my drift.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, playing, making music. Heading toward early retirement
(end of next year!), and then I'd love to have a partner for
travel, music, cooking and general mischief. (-;
Oct. 2015: Okay, I could have early retirement if I wanted. I've
chosen not to yet, but that could change any time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Kissing, music, relaxing and being active...and then there's
technical stuff like computer systems analysis which is my day job,
more or less.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile, my honesty and trustworthiness.

I'm reading Number9Dream by the same guy who wrote Cloud Atlas.
Weird book so far! I read Atlas Shrugged because a friend suggested
it. Interesting ideas though not sure it works in real life. I like
historical novels, some sci fi like Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson
and anything well written.
Movies: True Lies, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Cloud
Music: Lisa Loeb, K.T. Tunstall and others on SiriusXM Coffee
House, REM, Barenaked Ladies, classical (piano, flute), jazz piano
Theater, museums, live music: I subscribe to the Pasadena Playhouse
and the LA Master Chorale, and see the occasional show at the
Pantages, Ahmanson, Disney Concert Hall, LACMA, Getty and Norton
Food: Asian, American, fusion, French, cooking in general.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order
Fruits and vegetables
A good book
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What will my life look like once I'm retired?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On Fridays, I'm at my flute lesson! My teacher (and now great
friend) feeds me a quick meal, followed by a lesson, talk and a
crossword puzzle. It's a great start to my weekend!

You shouldn't message me if you are not local to LA unless you
