I am intelligent, adventurous, and odd.

My Self-Summary

I'm a math major at UCF. I was asked this at my first university last year, to finish the sentence "I am a...". What you answer is what you most closely relate yourself with. I'm a student, and that's... what I am. I love learning and will always love learning. If I could, I would spend the rest of my life in college. Too bad I'm not well-endowed. Financially, that is.

I enjoy being odd with whoever I'm with, both in reality and in sex. If you don't like being extravagant and probably turning a few heads by us swinging around poles singing Singin' in the Rain, then I'd go ahead and turn away now. I have a wonderful girlfriend so if you're just here to hook up I'm sorry to disappoint. I'm obsessive and clingy beyond anyone's belief, and so if I'm not talking with her I'm more like a lost puppy than anything. If that sounds pathetic, well I'm sorry. If anything you read makes you question if you should message me or not, then don't. I'd rather talk with people who don't get preconceived notions by something I wrote in ten minutes. My emotions sway so drastically that I'm more than likely a farcry from what I seem in my writings.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm majoring in math at UCF, there are a lot of jobs that require mathematicians so I'm not entirely worried about my job situation in the future. I've always had the thought that your job should make you enough money to let you do the things you enjoy in life. I feel if I did my hobbies as jobs they would lose what I enjoy about them.

I’m really good at

Making people smile. Most people might think it's sort of lame, but I'll go that extra mile just to see someone smile that I care about. Even if it involves putting me in embarrassing situations. Once, I even did a Simon Says in front of the entire world to see just so my girlfriend would get out of a funk. If you're close to me, I make sure you're never upset.

I'm also a pretty good musician. I've had a few music projects, released an EP or two. I play the flute rather well, along with about ten other instruments. If I own it, I'll take the time to learn to play it. Now all I need is to own a music store.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have a gay personality. And I don't mean that in the old usage of the term, I mean that literally. If you were to see me on the street, you would probably assume I was homosexual. I have a limp wrist, I swing when I walk, I have a lisp when I talk, and I use my hands to communicate more than anything. I'm not sure what it's from, but try not to make a point to mention it. It's a pretty disgusting quirk of mine, if I say so myself.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I enjoy the underground, as lame as it is to say. I love Agalloch, UneXpect, Joanna Newsom, and Age of Silence among others.

As far as movies go, I love The Tracey Fragments, Eternal Sunshine, A Clockwork Orange, Requiem for A Dream, and They Shoot Horses, Don't They?

I'm not as much of a reader as I would like to be. I just don't find books that interesting. I'm a huge Ayn Rand fan, but as I look back at my bookshelf at what else I really enjoy... there isn't much. Douglas Adams' novels? A Clockwork Orange? That's pretty much it.

The six things I could never do without

My girlfriend, my laptop, a chess board, the color purple (And not the novel or the film, the color), my cell phone and my fingertips.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Existence? I've also read Nietzsche a little.

On a typical Friday night I am

Honestly? I'm generally playing chess. I'm an avid player, and I'm always looking to get better.

You should message me if

You want to have a nice time talking with someone who shares your interests. I promise I'm not boring, as long as you aren't.
