My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess I should update once in a while. I love anime conventions and one really great thing I would love to do is have a hangout for other fans and just chill whenever. Something to do besides booze it up. Seriously there's nothing to do around here.

Also, I'm crazy. I won't deny it. I tend to be really random for no apparent reason and it will really come out of nowhere. On the other hand, I'm very contradicting in that I really do think really hard about an awful lot of things. I tend to overanalyze things, though i don't always share that analogy with everyone else. I often think about the fragility of life and other strange things.

I am complex, relaxed, and tenacious.

I am very into cosplay and don't mind roleplaying once in a while. Every time I consider joining a LARP, though, something else always comes up, so sadly I'm still a noob at LARPing. I'm a regular at Anime Detour and Sogencon, and I am considering being a regular at Nebraskon. I doubt I'll go back to Anime Expo for some time. Anime Iowa would be a good possibility for another con to try out.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Anime conventions!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm an artist, I also write and have an interest in music (playing, that is). I play the clarinet, and haven't tried much else. Along with these things, I have a side interest in computers and technology. I like to collect broken parts sometimes and take them apart to learn more about them.

I'm getting to be pretty good at cosplay. My best costume so far is definitely my Naruto cosplay. I've also cosplayed as Cloud and Pein, and I hope to cosplay as Tidus next year. Weird... not sure why I always cosplay as a guy. I guess crossplay is just fun. I have cosplayed as Princess Zelda in the past, but that was my first cosplay ever. Somehow, crossplay suits me better.

I suck at learning languages, and I really suck at programming. If I knew more about programming, I'd make some games.

Stuff I do with art: painting, drawing, sculpture, print making, photography, and of course a combination of all of these in cosplay.

I'm pretty darn good at some video games but not all of them. For some reason I'm really great at Counterstrike but barely manage in Halo. I'm a huge RPG player.

I unfortunately look mean at first, I scare strangers!

Books? I love books. I read fantasy and science fiction the most, though I'll often pick up something new out of curiosity. I love manga, especially shounen manga. As far as movies go, I'm extremely picky. I don't like girly movies, sappy movies, movies that never deserved a sequel, or movies that make you want to shoot yourself in the foot because they are so bad. :D

Books I have laying around: A lot of stuff by Anne McCaffrey from the Dragonriders of Pern series. Lord of Snow and Shadows and sequels, Last Defender of Camelot, A bunch of Piers Anthony books of Xanth, a bunch of Mercedes Lackey books, and of course horse books. Black Beauty, The Black Stallion, The Island Stallion, Misty of Chincoteague, The Red Pony and crap I have no idea how many. I have the old Narnia series, as well as regional historical fiction like Memoirs of a Geisha and Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. I enjoyed Julie of the Wolves as a kid and still do, I need to go and actually get a copy, haha. I have some classics laying around like Gone with the Wind (never got around to that one), War and Peace (bought it for the laugh factor), The Odyssey which was quite good, and a few that I can't read the titles on from here because they are so old.

TL;DR: Fantasy, dragons, horses, regional fiction, classics, and random.

Movies I have in the apartment: Braveheart, Excalibur, The Matrix, Amistad, Independence Day (LOL WHAT), Twister (again, LOL WHAT), The Land Before Time (only the original, mind you), Psycho (YES!), old VHS Spanish version of Snow White (hey, it was a rare find), Homeward Bound (adorable), Sister Act (funny, but it's aired on TV way too much), Milo and Otis (adorable), Home Alone (Who doesn't love seeing random silliness?), Highlander (there can be only ooooonnnneeeee!), The Sandlot (not a good movie, this is more of a cult classic. If you haven't seen it, you simply have to see it. Simple.) Samurai Jack (Love this, too bad Aku's voice actor died), Fern Gully (Oh lord why why why do I have this, ahha. Again, probably a cult classic.) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (another one of those things you just have to see just because.) All Dogs go to Heaven (wow I remember loving this as a kid) Ever After (Because swordfighting your way out CAN solve your problems, female or not.) Mask of Zorro (love it) Back to the Future (cult classic?) Sonic the Hedgehog TV series, one VHS (rare find) Rush Hour 2 (lol why) and of course some more anime. Oh man, I almost didn't see all those Disney movies. Oh man. *deep breath*
Lion King (on screen death ftw), The Little Mermaid (so very not true, the real little mermaid died a horrible death), Mulan (Also very not true, they did not go in groups dressed like freaking geisha to go see a match maker. Also, the person the story is based on DIED.) Aladdin (Also somewhat not true), Balto (This is actually almost true, though the sled guy didn't die, Balto's team did not do the ENTIRE run, and Balto wasn't half-wolf.) 101 Dalmatians (meh.) Oh lord, there's more?! NO! NO MORE LISTING! STOP! GAH!

TL;DR: Action, Comedy, Animals, Disney, Cult Classics, and Random

And now to the music... what can I say, I like several kinds, though I hate rap and other hateful music. I don't really want to be depressed THAT much! Food? Good grief I love food. I enjoy sushi, ice cream, Asian/Thai food, and of course chocolate. I do NOT like Mexican food, but that's mostly because it hates me back!

Anime... it's like crack only legal and healthy. :D

I have enjoyed the TV series Life After People on the History Channel which I just love sometimes. It's morbid, I love it. What would the world be like if humans suddenly vanished? That's what the series is about! I love Mythbusters, How It's Made, Dr. G Medical Examiner, The Most Extreme, and uh... I forgot the other one.

Where the heck is the "Video Games" segment?! :D I can't go without mentioning that. I have the following:
NES : Super Mario Super Mario 2 Super Mario 3 Road Blasters
Playstation : Spyro the Dragon (and #2 and 3) Final Fantasy 7 Final Fantasy Anthology (5 and 6) Final Fantasy 8 (looking for FF9) I have more somewhere...
Nintendo Gamecube : Pikmin 2 Tales of Symphonia Animal Crossing (that game is weird) Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Legend of Zelda Wind Waker Legend of Zelda collector's Edition (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Legend of Zelda, Legend of Zelda Adventure of Link) and looking for Ocarina of Time Master Quest just because of the cows in the walls. Also have Naruto Clash of Ninja (duh) both 1 and 2.
Sega Dreamcast : An under appreciated system, for sure. Shenmue Hydro Thunder Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver Soul Calibur Ecco the Dolphin Skies of Arcadia Looking for more games.
Nintendo 64 : I just got this, so I only have the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time gold cartridge and looking for more games.
Playstation 2: Tales of Legendia Final Fantasy 10
