I am a fun girl; live inner city - and like going to see live music around the suburbs. I used to frequent the Melbourne 80's pub scene (if you were there, you will know what I mean). So I still like going to see bands from way back then, and from NOW. Inner city Melbourne is the place for me.

I also like going out for dinner - most cuisines - except Mexican - and I am a bit over garlic lately.

I am really good at making people laugh - no, not standup nor rehearsed. I have an ability to make groups of people (work I guess) come together just by my nature of including everyone. Yes, it is difficult to explain.

In fact, mostly I don't really need to be interacting with anyone else - if people are around and just listen to me they will usually feel good (not all of the time mind you.)

at the moment - Reading ...... newspapers, Elliott Perlman, Winton, gardening books (naturally !), Nick Hornby / Earls, New Scientist. Oh and I just found Robert McLiam Wilson, so may read his books again.

Music :Music Jazz; blues; Chris Wilson, Kelly (old and new), Cohen, lang, Glass, Shankar (off to see him next year). Last person I saw in concert ? Hmm - oh, Tex Perkins doing The Man in Black. I think I have changed a lot in my taste in music. Off to see Shanker in 2010 - don't have a calendar to mark it down in ..

Gardening - not flowers, but getting stuck into the soil - vegetable gardening - weeds, native australian plants, The science of it all intrigues me. compost, mulch, propogating....

Friends - few, but all loyal and that includes the siblings who I am friendly with.

Music - to get lost in.

Special friends (has to be a separate category)

Theatre] - the small shows around Melbourne are really special.

I have to put down my 3 and 5 year old niece and nephew - all the rest have grown up - but these two bring me heaps of joy

If not, I may be out with friends after work but most normally the latter.
