In due course.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working with several writing projects, and a potential
co-authored piece involving performance art (there is partial
female nudity, isolation and carrion mastication involved).
I’m really good at
Being alert, looking alive, and acting like I know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: She Comes First, The Magus (read the freedom chapter if you
want to have your mind blown), The Deptford Trilogy, Paradise Lost,
Some of Chuck Palahniuk's stuff, various non-fiction.
Television: I don't watch television, but I go to the CTV website
and watch The Big Bang Theory.
Music: Tom Waits, Of Monsters and Men, Clutch, Primus, The Arcade
Fire and I'm going through a huge Jack White phase right now, The
Dead Weather, The Raconteurs, and sort of by proxy The Cold War
Kids, and The Kills. I have over 3600 songs on my playlist, ranging
from Russian Folk to TOOL, almost all of Mike Patton's work, Tegan
and Sara, etc. and so forth. I kind of love music.
The six things I could never do without
My satchel, books, music, pens, paper, humour.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the Friday. I am generally pretty relaxed, and not doing
anything too crazy...that being said, I'm always up for doing
things I've never done, or ending up somewhere I've never been
before...just depends on the circumstances.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a deep distrust of birds, and I have a rabid desire held in
check by a very thin piece of string to rugby tackle people in
mascot costumes. This isn't a violent hate toward them, I just
think it would be hilarious to see someone do it, and in the
absence of others doing it, feel it should be me to get the ball
You should message me if
You listen to the sex nerd Sandra podcast (if you don't, you should
get on that! It's amazing)
