I am open, interesting, and a geek.
My Self-Summary
Like everybody, I too hate this part. I'm here looking for whatever
the world brings me. I'm looking for fun, the exact nature of which
is still pretty much up in the air.
I’m really good at
Electronics, education and convincing people of things, which
probably explains why I'm still in electronics sales. I'm also a
pretty decent listener, dancer and mixologist (fancy term for
bartender not tending bar). I'm sure some of those words should be
in brackets to be searchable, but I'll get back to that sort of
thing later.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sexy, sexy body. Ok, that's probably not true in the least bit.
In reality, people probably don't notice me first. Once you sit
down and get to know me, you'll notice that I'm a fair and honest
person, but the likelihood of noticing me in a crowd is pretty low.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy,
World War Z and the
Zombie Survival
Handbook would be the 3 books I'd grab in the event of the end
of the world, so I guess they count.
The BBC version of H2G2 definately ranks, as does
Grosse Pointe Blank
and a few others.
Music is pretty much all over the place. I can always relax to some
90's alt rock/grunge, and I get very happy to hear some heavy hair
metal, but like with any music, the timing and the mood are
everything.
Easiest way to describe my music is to tell you my 10 presets on my
sirius:
1 - Hits 1 (top 40 stuff)
2 - 80's on 8
3 - 90's on 9
4 - The Pulse (90's and 2000's)
5 - Lithium (90's grunge and alt rock)
6- The Highway (Modern Country) - has currently taken over in an
effort to force myself to expand my musical horizons (Thank you
C&R for forcing me to do this)
//6 - Classic Rewind (classic rock of the 70's and 80's)
7 - Broadway
8 - Stars Too (formerly Maxim Radio - guy's talk radio)
9 - Raw Dog (stand up comedy uncensored)
10 - Radio Disney (yes, THAT Disney....)
I'm a huge
sushi fan
and there is pretty much no bad time for chinese food. That said,
there is very little I won't put in my mouth at least once.
The six things I could never do without
My imagination - because when the world sucks, I always have the
one in my head to escape to.
My computers - I'm really too attached to the Internet (it's
capitalized because it's a place)
Cake-pie - feel
free to ask about it
My cell - I feel naked without it. And that's the bad public
speaking naked, not the good bedroom naked.
My friends - because sometimes you need to move more than 1 body at
a time, and sometimes you need somebody to hold off the zombies
while you reload. Either way, you need friends.
My multitude of kitchen appliances - Because "food" is too generic,
and there's nothing quite like a home cooked meal (or home
deep-fried anything)
On a typical Friday night I am
More than likely at work. If I wasn't, I'd love to be out on the
town on a lively night, or cuddled on the couch on a tired night.
It'd all depend on the place and person I was with.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm starting to realize I'm much better at giving happiness than
getting it. I'll do SO much to make a person that I care about
happy, with very little regard for how much pain that may bring to
me. Unfortunately, I've started to notice the gap and have been
nothing but disappointed with the results. Is it wrong to be bitter
about all of the people I've made happy? I hope not, but privately,
I'm jealous of everybody I've made happy for them not being able to
return the favor.
You should message me if
You're interested, at all, in starting anything.
You want to know the secret of Cake-Pie.
