I'm a laid back guy who equally enjoys exploring new places and activities just as much as kicking back and relaxing.

I'm gracefully clumsy (trust me, it makes sense in person), yet I always land on my feet. Also, I'm pretty sure that I'm at least somewhat funny. Perhaps I'm not stand-up comedian funny, but I'm confident that I'll make you laugh at some point.

Just like 99.9% of the rest of the people on OKCupid, I enjoy being outdoors: hiking, camping, etc. In the summer, I'll take every chance I can to be out on Madison lakes. I also enjoying motorcycling on the Wisconsin backroads.

While I do love being outside, I'm equally happy staying indoors and catching a good movie or show over a bottle of wine and a nice a home-cooked meal.

I enjoy photography and I'm always trying to find ways to take better pictures - I've got a long way to go. I've done mostly sports and nature stills. I recently shot a wedding and learned a lot. I'd consider doing it again after I've got some more practice.

I enjoy cooking, baking, grilling - if it involves preparing food and then eating it, I dig it.

As far as movies go, I like and watch just about anything. Some of my favorites would be: Death to Smoochie, Casino, Ronin, Serenity, Heat, Top Gun, Snatch, Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels, Ocean's 11, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Blow, Lost in Translation, The Great Outdoors, The Big Lebowski, James Bond Movies, and all of the Pixar movies.

I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I do enjoy the following TV shows: Top Gear, Breaking Bad, Top Chef, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, The Walking Dead, and Arrested Development.

I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I prefer electronica, classic rock, jazz, classical, and alternative rock. I'll also listen to some smarter hip-hop, pop, and other genres.

I love just about any kind of food and I really enjoy ethnic food. I like to cook. Onions are for the devil.

I had my first, only, and very unexpected proctology exam when I was 15 (I was in a podunk hospital nearly passed out on a stainless steel table from the pain in my abdomen). That test resulted in an emergency appendectomy.
