My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I murder drama like some sort of drama-murderin' llama with a kama. I just don't do it. I'm pretty accepting of race, gender, preference, and beliefs, but if you like to make a scene, then I'm not your guy.

I also don't own a car, but I do have Car2Go, which is an amazing service that I can't talk up enough. Bikes are my go-to transportation when it's not terrible outside (thanks, _Minnesota_).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Recently got promoted at those tall multicolored buildings on West Bank that you see when you're going downtown. I'm some sort of paperwork monkey, but I have minions, too.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Giving advice to other people. Giving massages, potentially while giving good advice (I won't say 'backrub' because I also do the oft-overlooked face, hands, and leg massages).

I'm creative and have an odd humor, which isn't to say I have odd humors; I would label myself as a combination melancholic-phlegmatic with an occasional sanguine streak.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently it's my glasses, because I'm told that I look very different depending on if I'm wearing them or my contacts.

I'm a big guy but I like to think I'm not intimidating. The second thing that people notice about me is that I have a degree in English and try to be at least moderately grammatical.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

TV: I cancelled my cable, so I have been watching a lot of Netflix & Hulu. Empire, Agents of SHIELD, and Daredevil all made the list recently.

Books: Jim Butcher, Scott Lynch, Michael Moorcock, George R.R. Martin, Seanan McGuire... actually I'm kinda a sucker for fantasy/sci -fi series and tend to read every book of any author I get turned to.

Food: I probably eat too much at Chipotle and the Uptown Diner. Love the Caspian Bistro.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My Surly Cross-Check bicycle. As mentioned above, I don't own a car, and quite frankly I'm not sure I would want one in the neighborhood where I work.
2. Tylenol PM, for when I have to sleep in the early afternoon for work.
3. The Midtown Greenway, for getting pretty much everywhere I need to go.
4. Uptown, where my apartment and everything I need is.
5. Car2Go
6. A good book (recently, The Expanse series by James Corey & Ragamuffin, by Tobias Buckell)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Work. I've never taken work home like this before. Just something raw about dealing with refugees, immigrants, and drug addicts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wait, I can go out on Fridays? I guess I can, now. I should figure out something to do on Friday nights.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My instinct is to treat a lady like a princess. This isn't a very PC instinct, in this modern world with modern women and whatnot. Luckily I like modern women and can take criticism.

"LOL" isn't in your texting vocabulary. If that is the case, I already like you and we should talk!

You are a gamer and would like to chat games. I am getting a good laugh out of my Gamma World game right now and love to talk about it.

Ethnic origin, religion, gender identity... these things don't matter as much as open-mindedness and compassion.

I like to think that I'm not superficial, but I exercise at least a little bit every day and I would hope that someone I dated would also take care of herself, too.
