My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Scott. I like to write novels and read books about history and watch 70s TV.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a history undergrad at LSE. This year, I'm all about failed socialist nations and gender politics.

My other main love is writing; I write prose and plays and, just recently, I've been getting into poetry. I want to develop a couple of manuscripts and have them ready to begin shopping them around to agents by the time I graduate.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I write a lot, all the time. I've done NaNoWriMo successfully every year since 2008, and I'm currently trying to get a couple of manuscripts edited and ready to go by the time I graduate. I do some poetry and plays, too.

Besides that, I've taken up baking this past summer and have set about fattening up all my friends with treats.

Finally, I did the Paris Marathon back in April in 3:55, which I'm really proud of.
The first things people usually notice about me

Probably my height. At 6' 4", I'm hard to miss.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Obviously, this isn't a comprehensive list of what I like but I'll just put down a few favourites.

Authors: Philip K. Dick, H. P. Lovecraft, George R. R. Martin, Orwell, Waid and Moore. Catherynne M. Valente has quickly become my favourite author of the past decade.

Films: Super, Submarine, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Scott Pilgrim, Halloween (1978), A Nightmare on Elm Street, the good Star Treks.

TV: Star Trek, Doctor Who, Daria, The X-Files, Peep Show, Mystery Science Theater 3000, The Office, Frasier, A Bit of Fry & Laurie, Arrested Development, Blake's 7, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, Buffy, Futurama, and any Louis Theroux documentary. I'm a big TV person.

Music: Marilyn Manson, Molotov Jukebox, Placebo, Palma Violets. Basically, a lot of hard and glam rock. Also, ask me about my blossoming love of Nicki Minaj.

Some orchestral composers I like: Wagner, Mozart, Vaughan Williams, and Handel. Some pretty common choices, but they're my favourites regardless.

Food: a whole lot of things, really. I'll be loyal to my roots and say that Iranian food is my favourite, but I really have quite diverse tastes.
