I'm pretty good at: throwing a football in a spiral, not getting lost in cities, talking like a beer snob, coming back at the exact right time after starting the microwave and walking away
I'm pretty bad at: doing things left-handed, dropping eyedrops in my eye on the first try, mario kart (the shame!)
I'm really bad at: that thing where you pat your head and rub your belly simultaneously
Fight Club tops my list (so original! what a beautiful, unique snowflake I must be). Superbad, The Prestige, and The Fall are other favorites, and I'll watch anything that Aaron Sorkin wrote, David Fincher directed, or Paul Rudd was funny in.
Books kick ass. Sci-fi, historical nonfiction, policy issues, whatever. Good writing is good reading. Some books I've read in the past year or so: Sleeping With The Devil (Baer), Moby Dick (Melville), Blood And Guts: A History Of Surgery (Hollingham), A Song Of Ice And Fire (GRRM, who will remorselessly kill off everyone you love. Not that I'm bitter), The Magicians (Grossman), Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance (Pirsig), The Botany Of Desire (Pollan: it's about plants-not a weird fetish thing), Tales of Ordinary Madness (Bukowski)
Went a couple years without TV (which were great) just watching the Daily Show/Colbert and Archer, but right now I'm digging Louie, Bob's Burgers, Cosmos, Jeopardy!, and Sherlock. I cannot overstate how much I prefer the BBC versions of Top Gear and Planet Earth/Life. I feel very strongly about this. Classics like the West Wing and other good political shows (HOUSE OF CARDS HOUSE OF CARDS), Avatar, the Simpsons, It's Always Sunny, etc. are always welcome too. Oh, during football season I turn into a bro and get really into grilling while watching enormous men give each other brain damage.
That's five. Six is too many, and four? Get fucking serious
Where in the world I want to travel
My deep-seated preference for dental floss as opposed to dental tape
Zone blitzes! And other football strategy which I am guaranteed to never have a practical use for.
