My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm friendly, easily amused and love going out and having fun. I'm dependable, trustworthy and fiercely loyal (sometimes to a fault) and have a strong sense of honor.

That being said, I'm stubborn, a little shy, sarcastic, and a complete nerd. I'm easily distracted and... Ooh, SHINY!!! What were we talking about again?

I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, but I am not in any way shape or form an Osmond. I also have a strange sense of humor.

On a sunny day I enjoy spending time in nature, running, hiking or camping. On a rainy day, I am likely home working on computer projects. On any given night I could be just about anywhere, dancing, at the movies with friends or out playing laser tag with the guys.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Spend my days working hard to pay the bills and spending most nights studying to get my Masters degree.

I'm involved in any number of things whether it's dancing, helping on staff with a local marching band, theater, etc. I keep myself pretty busy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm great with computers, music, and basic survival skills. I excel at growing beards. I've been told I'm pretty good at wearing clothes. I have 30 years of experience with eating, breathing and sleeping so by now I should be good at those. I'm also adept in the art of sarcasm...
The first things people usually notice about me

My beard, and my "late night radio host" voice.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I just finished reading Dune, a book I had been meaning to read for a long time but never quite got around to it. Currently I'm reading Game of Thrones and love it. Most of what I read falls into the Science Fiction/Fantasy catagory, things like Ender's Game, Sword of Shannara, Lord of the Rings.

Music: I listen to a lot of music... I particularly like Sting, Van Halen, Rascal Flatts, The Goo Goo Dolls, Switchfoot, Peter Hollens, Lindsey Stirling... that type stuff.

Shows: Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Game of Thrones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. you get the idea.

Movies: The only movies I really don't like are slasher films which I tend to find boring and predictable. Most other movies I'll at least give a shot. Some of my favorite movies would be Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Tron, Fight Club, 1408, Serenity, Star Wars, and any of the old Indiana Jones movies.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
ok, without using the cheap answers like "air" and "water"
my morning Coffee
my cat
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much cooler life would be if I had super powers.
How I missed so many spelling mistakes when I originally wrote my profile.
What song to learn on guitar next.
Whether or not anyone actually reads this far into my profile.
Whether or not my co-workers are aliens in disguise, (and if so why they couldn't construct a better human disguise).
How to foil my cat's evil plot to take over the world.
Whether or not this is all a dream, and if so, who's dream is it and why couldn't they have a cooler imagination, like one that included me having super powers?
I think that I think too much...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
on stage performing. For the next few weeks I'm in a local community theater production and Friday is a show night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Laser pointers entertain me almost as much as they entertain my cat.
