Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I is smart. I is kind. I is important.
I am 33 years old and live in Herndon, Virginia. I am a youth
pastor. I love what I do, but I do not force beliefs or ideals into
anyone. It's not what I have been taught and I am never out to make
people feel uncomfortable. If you like hanging out with a normal
person who maybe does something just a little bit different for a
living then I am your man. If my job might bother you then I
understand and wish you well because everyone deserves to find
someone, I just hope that it doesn't and you can give me, the
person, a chance and to see how I'm just like you.
Growing up in rural Oklahoma I felt like I lived in Mayberry, but I
always enjoyed it. I live in Northern Virginia, but spent five
years in the Maryland suburbs. I moved to the DC area in August
2007 and consider it home.
Outside of work stuff I enjoy playing trivia, softball and
kickball. Trying new things, but also sticking to the basics like
movies and concerts go a long way with me. I am an open book and I
will be honest if you ever feel the need to ask me questions.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
As stated above, I am a youth pastor. I work for a Lutheran church
in Centreville. In previous spots I have served Methodist,
Episcopal, and Non-Denominational churches.

I was raised on the backroads of rural Oklahoma so country music
will always be my roots. Mega-ticket anyone? I listen to a broad
range of music though and I love live music.
I like all movies and if you want to catch one whether they are
independent or mega-blockbusters I would be happy to jon you.
TV: Usually comedies like HIMYM, Modern Family, New Girl, and the
all-time classic, Scrubs. I also likes shows like Parenthood, The
Newsroom, Homeland and Dexter. Speaking of Dexter, how terrible was
that finale? Wow. House of Cards is my new obsession. I binge
watched the series in a little over a week.
A few books that I have read recently include, The Fault In Our
Stars, And the Mountains Echoed, The Reason For God, The Giver,
Elanor & Park, the Divergent series, Love Letters to the Dead,
Gone Girl and Dark Places, both by Gillian Flynn, This Is Where I
Leave You, The First Phone Call From Heaven by Mitch Albolm and
Ready Player One.

"Okay, I'm going to say something out loud that I've been doing a
pretty good job of not saying out loud lately. What you and Tony
have - what I thought, for a second, you and me had; what I know
Marshall and Lily have - I want that. I do. I keep waiting for it
to happen and waiting for it to happen and I guess umm, I'm tired
of waiting. And that is all I'm going to say on that subject."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
During the school year I am usually found at a football game in the
Fall, Basketball through the winter and other sports and concerts
in the Spring.
